Leviton branded, high quality high temp insulation on the leads, prestripped and easily solderable ends. 12" leads. More expensive than the cheapo ones but worth it.

I have post deck lights and sometimes the socket fails. These are the replacement for the failed socket. Beats paying $89 for the complete light! If I can even find one!

I had purchased a Solar light for my driveway a few years ago. I went to a local home improvement store to purchase replacement solar batteries. But found out they did not stock the batteries for my light. I looked for a replacement light fixture to replace the existing solar light. But decided I liked the look of the one I had., So I decided to convert my solar light to a low voltage LED light. This socket was exactly what I was looking for. It has worked out very well.

stated size did non fit pins on these bulbs and is too large for my fixture.seems to be well made. too much money to return for the price

These are perfect for the G4 base Philips LED modules I bought. (I've posted a picture here.) Other bases I've tried that claimed to fit different base types had holes that were too far apart and/or not tight enough to grip the bulbs firmly. Not so with these Levitons. I do have to say that I can't picture them working on an MR16 base bulb - the holes were tight enough with the G4s and the pins are a lot thinner than the MR16s.*Update*Also found to be fine for MR11 base bulbs.

Working on a DIY project that needs a high wattage 12v halogen bulb to produce heat. This was perfect. Nicely made. I could not find these in any local home store. After searching all over this is by far the best price and the shipping was fast.

Some of my halogen recessed lighting fixtures in my kitchen started dying so I removed the original bulb receptacle and replaced them with these and a few new crimp-on connectors. I originally thought i needed to replace the fixture...but my fixtures are "new work" meaning I'd need to make a big hole in the ceiling to replace the whole unit. Wanting to avoid that, I started to look for the root cause or my problem. I figured out it was the receptacle by removing it (it had two spade quick connects) and checking it for continuity. Once I knew what I needed, I hunted everywhere until I found these. These are not available at any home stores. I figured it was worth a shot for the price. They work as expected and I'm back in business.They come with bare leads so you'll need to be mildly handy electrically.

I've used these to replace shoddy OEM sockets in landscape lights - they work and fit great. A bit pricey, but ok with the Amazon Prime shipping deal. Buying again!
