Junk. The roller sheds so you have to constantly pick bits from the spackle. Just cut your mud with some water and use a putty knife to apply to the wall. Or find a better applicator.

Once you get the hang of it. You can do light or a heavier texture which gives a different look. I was going over old manufactured wall board. I would practice before you start a large area. I will try to update with pictures. Take a while to get clean as it hold a lot. I found putting my mud on wall with spatula first than you can control the thickness worked much better than trying to roll it in a pan first, it splatered a lot more mud and it was harder to control the consistency in my texture.

This roller is what I was hoping to be the best all around for applying all purpose lite compound for skimming my ceiling hence that’s what it was designed to do first off you should know it requires a proprietary extension sold exclusively by level5 an additional $50 and secondly this roller is good once you get it loaded up but after a few passes it starts to shed??? To put in perspective I have a 12’ x16’ room I was able to only cover half with lite compound??? This stuff was yogurt thin?? Come on Level5 we pay a premium here for quality thankfully I bought a set of 3 in addition to this included one so I was able to finish rolling my ceiling but it cost me two rollers.Overall it’s poor quality and execution. I don’t recommend you go with this company gonna stick with my Sherlock GT and the trusty Wooster 1/2 nap microfiber for now.

I’m really happy with the results and labor saving’s this product achieves. The only problem is that it seems to shed some of the roller material the first few times using it but there’s a painter’s trick for that.

This roller works amazing for rolling the drywall mudd onto new drywall. We are building a custom home & this has worked great. The only thing is you do have to watch as in the begging the black thick hairs the roller cover is made from fall out at first. We have been using it for sometime now & it has saved so much time. I would highly reccomend this.

Works okay but only fits this roller and small plastic black hairs comes off if as you roll compound. So it ends up messing you up on your passes

I liked it ,works as described, sometimes leaves some of the fibers from the roller but it wasn’t a big issue for me.

First use, strands of black material from roller came off while applying compound to wall. Frustrating picking them out before and after skimming.
