I bought two since I have 2 Level bolts. One set up easy, no problems works perfect. The other was for my front door and that was on Amazon Sidewalk, I think it got confused. I turned off the Sidewalk and tried to set it up again. It wasn't having it. I couldn't get it to reset. Then I found instruction on how long I had to press the reset button and what lights had to flash until it indicated it had actually reset. Then it was simple to get it on the network and working. So mostly operator error. I had to undo the Level Lock skill and relink the Level Lock app to Alexa. Both locks show up in Alexa and work with voice. I still have not been able to get them to show up in Ring because Ring doesn't find them via Bluetooth or WiFi it only ever found the one that had been connected via Amazon Sidewalk. I am happy with them and they are now devices on my network.

On my second replacement from Level and this thing still constantly disconnects. I have to hard reset it every few days and then it’ll go offline again. Disappointing that this device can’t even stay connected to the app/wifi in this day and age.

The Level Home Bolt and Connect hub have all the hallmarks of a failing startup company. Their first Gen product release was not ready for prime time and the 2nd Gen is riddled with connectivity issues. Alas, I thought I would give this a go and see if I could make it work.My router and door are about 25 feet from eachother and couldn't get this thing to connect with both at the same time despite drastic measures. I even put this POS on an extension cord and marched it all around the house trying to find a sweet spot. What's worse, it has an unfixable glitch where you have to unplug it and reset it to reconnect it should it ever lose its connection - which it does after a few minutes if you're not "in the sweet spot" between your door and your router. I probably reconnected this thing 100 times during the troubleshooting process. I eventually found a spot inside my wall where I had the requisite signal and power connections, AND THEN IT DIED. HAHAHA! Refund and goodbye! I bet Level's private equity investors are pissed.

So, the level lock company’s actions were to break a working product that used to function with Alexa, allowing users to open and close their locks. However, at some point, it stopped working. Unless you purchase their(this!) product as a bridge between your lock and external devices, it won’t work. This leaves me with mixed feelings. I feel like we’re being exploited and targeted for the company’s gain. They broke a well-functioning product, forcing us to buy their product to fix the issue they created.

The connection between the level lock and the level connect is easily disrupted. My primary reason for purchasing the connect was to allow for lock control via the Echo Hub. This feature is wonderful, if you can get the Alexa app to pair with the level connect. Not sure if this has anything to do with the recent purchase of Level Lock by ASSA ABLOY, but the product needs serious improvement.

This is an electronic device for one specific function. It enables you to use your Level Lock with an app on your phone while you are away from home. It works incredibly well, and very fast.Let me back up a bit.At first I had this hooked up using a name brand Door Bell camera from another company. The door bell camera was made to handle the Level Bolt Lock bluetooth signal which allowed you to lock and unlock your door from any location, not just at the door but away from home. This is incredibly convenient if you need to let someone in your home while you are not there. Also great if you are not sure if you locked the door when you left the house.Anyway, it worked ok using the 3rd party Doorbell camera, but I decided to get rid of the doorbell camera due to another price increase this year. I purchased a subscription free from another company. Which meant I need to purchase this product to allow using my door lock when not at home. This device nails it perfectly. Im typically a critical person and can be picky about products that dont deliver. This one does and wow. The lock works faster than ever before for both my wife and I.Summary -Wi-Fi products can be tricky for some people but if you have reliable wi-fi in your home, this device will work perfectly> Its rare I feel so much praise for a company. Sometimes what you hope you will get you do not. In this case, I got exactly what I hoped for. Thank you Level Connect.

Can't use if you're in Canada due to the Level Lock Alexa skill not being available outside the US. Why is this available to buy on amazon.ca I don't understand and the company is not doing anything about it.

Don’t buy this if you want to sync your lock to Alexa. When setting up the level connect you will need to add the “level home” skill to Alexa. If you are in Canada the level home skill is not available, even though on Amazon.ca they advertise it “works with Alexa”!! Response from Level support was:“We have no scope in terms of functionality of the apps like Level App outside of the US due to combination of geographical restrictions, market prioritization, legal and regulatory compliance challenges, localization complexities, technical limitations and considerations related to customer support and demand assessment. As such, users in regions where these apps are not officially sold or supported like level locks may experience limited access or functionality due to these factors.”Amazon needs to take down the misleading representations about this device “working with Alexa”. Its deceptive marketing!

The Level Connect Wi-Fi Bridge is a fantastic addition to any Level Smart Lock or Level Bolt! It’s super easy to set up and instantly enables the lock Wi-Fi, adding so much convenience. Now, I can control the lock remotely, which is perfect for letting in guests or checking on the lock status when I’m away. It works seamlessly with the app, making the whole smart lock system even better. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to upgrade their Level lock with remote access!

I have a lot of Level products since I love their clean, minimalist design - my front door has a Level Lock+ and the Level Keypad mounted on a nearby post.I use Alexa to control all of my smart home automation - lights, TV, you name it. The one thing I always wished Level had was Alexa support, and now we have it! Setup was totally painless; it connected and found my Lock+ immediately, and it was very easy to add the device to my Alexa. If you’re wondering about security - Alexa requires a “voice key” PIN code so no one can yell through your window to unlock your door. I added the “lock front door” to my “good night” routine, so now when I’m ready for bed, I just say “Alexa, good night” and my lights shut down and the front door locks. Perfect!Highly recommend getting this as an addition to your Level.
