Archiving family history and my academic papers. These binders are getting very hard to find, apparently now only from Europe. They are useful for people who have papers - academics (binding a thesis without machinery) or when you need to hold together a bunch of random papers for storage (medical record). They are indispensable for sheet music and as others have mentioned for holding scripts on set or rehearsals - where one might want to shift papers when revisions occur. I am tempted to buy more than I need before these go out of manufacture. I sure hope not, as I have recently found that one cannot find a PAPER archival wallet envelope ANYWHERE! Great prioduct and very attractive and expensive looking.

High quality, strong, fits a ton of pages (several plays, sides, etc). This will replace many other binders, which all suck in one way or another, from weaksauce three-hole ones to clamp ons you can't lay flat. Of course this costs a sweet penny, but it's worth it. Looks legit too. Like you're about to present something to congress.

I use this for keepsake scripts, it's like professionally bound without being professionaly bound.

ADHESIVE came loose on the metal strip that holds the binding in place. Six months from purchase.

The binder works great and really makes a sheath of printed copies turn into an (almost) professionally bound book. Easy to use and can be reused many times. Very high quality.

Glad to see they are still/again making these... very handy for building a manuscript from many subsections, re-arranging at-will, etc. In many ways better than ring binders.

Worth the money! This spring binding is amazing and perfect for what looks and works like a real book over. We bought 4 to put in a family member’s life story. Much cheaper than getting it published. Pull the binding backwards (I know, we’ve been conditioned never to do that), place bulk of pages into binding, let go and let the book spring go back into place. Voila! Used this for my thesis way back when too. Nice thick cover! Classy.

This hard-to-find springback binder will hold all your pages together by the pressure of a spring along the pages' entire edge (not just a few inches in the center). If you are familiar with LEUCHTTURM1917 notebooks, you will know the quality of their products and this binder is no exception. The cover is very stiff and elegant, suitable in business and professional settings. This is a great binder to use both for temporary (work-in-progress) and permanent (archival) tasks. Coming from Europe, the binder is sized for A4 paper but it will work well with 8.5x11 paper also. I've often used the binder with 100-120 pages and the pages won't slide out accidentally. The spring has a high tension and it will take a little effort in putting the manuscript inside the binder but, once in, the papers are well-protected and safe. Another use is to create a temporary, bound artpad by filling the binder with quality drawing paper. Once you buy one of these, it's likely you will find reasons to buy more.

Good for filing about 100 pages. Simple to rearrange pages without disfiguring the page with punch holes.

I opted for this method because three prong folders have disappeared from the market and it offers greater flexibility for binding. These are the best springback binders. They are found in two sizes this is the 305mm (only referenced in metric) and can be found in several colors; the other is slightly smaller and I have only seen it in black. Both sizes hold American 8.5x 11 sheets no problem. The smaller is advertised to hold 120 "pages", The larger binder is advertised to hold 150 "pages". Just to clarify, technically speaking a page is one side of a sheet.. Many printers today can do duplex printing, that is both sides of a sheet of paper, i.e 2 pages per sheet. I do booklet printing which gives me 4 pages per letter size sheet stripped for easy folding, sorry for the digression. Expensive yes, but a solid build. The ones sold in Europe come is cloth, kind of a canvas cover. They're all great and deserve more visibility in the American market. Both binders handle duplex pages well.

I never give 5 stars but this is the best loose leaf folder I have ever used. I have 2 and when I need more this is what I will buy. Very good.
