Easy to mix and use. Perfect for keeping my children's foot and hand mold prints. The harder you press, the better result (blue hand and foot). Would definitely recommend.

Super easy to use. If you follow instructions -this mold material is perfect. It does however, produce a very stiff mold. NOT good for say making larges molds but for molds of smaller items, it is perfect.

It is bonded greatly and takes the shape of your desire design. Excellent for small jewelry design mold if you are casting wax but if you do not have heat machine for mold.

It cures very fast, but the doughy texture of it tends to create bubbles/imperfections in the mold. I may use this again if I just needed something quick and without much detail, but the imperfections the dough creates are a problem for me with the artwork I make. Because of that I DO NOT feel that it is a good value. It also cures very hard and NOT FLEXIBLE so it makes removing items very difficult! My resin pieces broke when trying to remove them.

It does cure fast, but so do a number of other putty silicones. I've seen only one brand that offers a slow set putty and I get tons of air bubbles. Make sure to mix both parts completely and as fast as possible. I use small double sided measuring scoops that measure 1/8th to 1/2 of a teaspoon at a time.I use putty silicones for fragile plant material or layering for stronger molds. This serves the purpose decently. It isn't as flexible as amazing mold putty, but it is sturdy enough to do the job.A bit of an observation when casting plants, it does come to trial and error. Some leaves have natural latex that may inhibit curing. Others may gas off as they dry, causing air bubbles or a foaming effect. This may or may not be avoidable. The trick is to keep trying until something works.I use polymer clay and haven't yet used the new molds I made with this product, but I expect good results. I dropped a star because of durability. This does show stress if you bend the mold too far. It is also because I am picky. It can also be fussy to get right. One advantage this product has is it does hold it's shape well if you try to sculpt the silicone to make custom texture stamps, where amazing mold putty would flatten out and lose detail.I also wish bulk quantities could be purchased of this stuff. This is one of the drawbacks I see is having to keep purchasing this at 1 lbs quantities when I desire 3lbs or more.

I was a little leery about this product based on some reviews but having experienced operator errors on a first hand basis I thought I'd try it. I couldn't be more pleased. I've made a lot of molds with home made silicone and this is WAY easier - not nearly as sticky. I like that it's firmer on cure but still flexible enough to pull the casting (I used a Sculpey 3 model); and it mixes very easily . Instructions refer to a 'by weight' measurement, but also a 1:1 ratio which is what I used since I don't have a scale. I'm planning on replacing a lot of my other molds with this product and look forward to new uses. The only thing I didn't like was the working time is a little quicker than I'd like; so prior planning is essential. Was very pleased with results I had.

I have used several putty mold makers. Like the others, the mix needs to be even and thoroughly mixed to be effective. You also need to roll the putty on the item to be molded to prevent air bubbles. I like this over Amazing mold putty from Alumilite because it gives better detail from casting when compared be the same resin used. It does take a little longer to harden after mixing then Amazing Mold maker putty, but that just gives you more time to ensure the putty is properly and evenly mixed.

My dog crossed the rainbow bridge little bit over a week ago. I got his ashes and pawprint back. His pawprint was made out of clay. I and my husband wanted to touch it all the time but we were worried we might break it. I wanted to make a duplicate. I didn't want to put another clay on the top of the clay... I tried to find a way to make a reverse pawprint and a duplicate. Silicone came out. I didn't want to submerge his pawprint clay in the Silicone liquid. This one was a great option. I just got it today. I followed the direction. I measured blue and white one using a scale. It cured quickly. The result was amazing. I could see his nail and pawprint textures so well.. Now I can use a mold and use clay or whatever to make more pawprint while I store an original pawprint in a safe place.
