NPT stands for National Pipe Tapered, taper rate for all NPT threads is 1/16.

Perfect for the application. Built a custom Etrike with a custom box for controller and wiring to keep out of rain, dust, etc. Box was made out of 1/8 thick sheet metal and drilled holes. These integrated great insuring a water tight seal where wires entered from throttle, motor and battery

These are lightweight cable glands, but they do work. The plastic is quite soft, but they mate well with thin Chines made plastic boxes.

Connectors are very sturdy. They have a built in ratchet that prevents them from loosening up. All gaskets are included which makes for a waterproof fit.
