Used as a strain relief on an handheld electric tool. Worked as expected but got brittle when the temperature dropped and the spiral part broke off the nut. That’s why I gave it three stars. It is still holding the cord tightly in place. I will most likely replace with the same product

I got these to use on a couple tools I have were the strain relief has been damaged after years of use requiring me to use black electrical tape in order to help prevent damaging the cords. I saw these and thought they would be a great solution to my issue howver after getting them I realized that they are much larger than I thought and would require a hole in the tool with a minimum diameter of 11/16". This might have been something the manufacturer had noted in the description and I missed it but the tools I intended to use these on have much smaller diameter reliefs and short of enlarging the holes in the tool housings is going to make these pretty much useless. I think these will work well in some applications but just be aware that you will need a minimum housing hole of 11/16" to make these work.

this 3/4 was a little loose but was OK, the 1/2 was too tight , couldn’t get the 10-3 gauge wire through
