Our four person salt water tub was chlorinated properly but the water clarity was poor. I found this product and tried it out. My tub is ~210 gallons so I used a tablespoon and turned the jets on. The product grabs all of the suspended junk in the water and makes it come to the top. Once the foam is building up I used my skimmer to get it out. The next day the water was so clear I couldn’t believe it. No weird smells or strange feel to the water post treatment. A week after the first application it still looked better than ever. We use the tub every day and aren’t the best about showering before use.

The bottle that's been around for a decade has been redesigned. Now you have to pull out a cup to measure properly. Before you could use the lines on the bottle. What a dumb change. Otherwise, this stuff always works great!

Our hot tub overnight got very cloudy out of nowhere. All the levels were where they should be, but could not get cloudiness to clear after a shock or any other attempts. Bought this based on the reviews and hoped it would help save me from draining and refilling before schedule. It took two doses over as many days, but this stuff is a miracle product and returned pur opaque and cloudy water to crystal clean. Be prepared to skin and clean and this stuff really makes the minute particles bind together into a gnarly surface scum, but that’s exactly what was needed. Would buy this 100x over. So great!

I wish I took pictures to show the difference and how well this works. We had water clarity issues in our 4k gallon swim spa from swimmers not showering before use. All chems were balanced, brand new filters so we tried this. On a Friday afternoon, I followed the directions by the letter and didn't have the amount of scum that some people in these reviews had but definitely did have some. I used the net to skim it off and wiped around the water line with a sponge. Ran a filter clean cycle for 8 hours then again 8 hours the next day. Checked the water on Sunday morning and it was as clear as can be!! I HIGHLY recommend this for clearing up cloudy water in a spa!

I am a first time hot tub owner. So I was uneducated on how to properly care for the water. I was fighting cloudy nasty water after 1 month of weekly use. I did some research and after reading other reviews decided to try this. Let me tell you. It worked wonders. Of course you need a net to catch all the oily body nasties, right away. This stuff works almost instantly with the jets going. Also bought a turtle scum collector. My hot tub water looks as clean and clear as the day i filled it. Buy it you won't regret it.

After 3 years of searching (endlessly) for a product to clear my chronically cloudy hot tub, and after talking to my local tub dealer many times for a product or technique to clear the cloudiness (frustratingly without a solution!). I finally found it with this product, use as instructed it cleared out all the invisible 'gunk' from my hot tub in less than an hour!I always maintain a perfect PH and Chlorine levels in my Arctic Spas Cub Model tub (285 gal), but could only keep the water looking clean for a few days after a complete drain & refill of the tub with new filters installed, it would always go back to cloudy within a few days - this had continued for 3 YEARS to a point I was ready to get rid of the tub.For now, this product has restored it back to pristine crystal clear water, which is what I expected after spending $20K for a high-end hot tub 3 years ago. Thank you Leisure Time for creating this product, it absolutely works using their proprietary 'surfactant' chemical to trap all the organic invisible gunk in your tub, which then coagulates and floats to the surface in larger particles to be skimmed off or captured by a scum sponge I use - see the picture of what it removed, I used the tub pre-filters to not clog up my main filters which worked perfectly, and had to toss the Zorbie sponge, but happy to do it to obtain a sparking clean tub - 10 stars, great product!

I need to take before and after photos next time I do this...is clears it up at about 15 minutes. The amount of scum you can wisk away is scary. So glad we now have crystal clear water again!

So i am the type of person who has zero faith in almost any product I buy nowadays... but this one certainly deserves the 5 stars and more. I have battled thisnjot tin for the last month i have owned it trying to figure out how to get the cloudiness out of it! I tried everything!! I spent so much money on chemicals etc all for nothing. I received this yesterday went home... put in an ounce and a quarter and turned on the pumps BAM All this brownish guck started to come to the top of the tub aling with a bunch of foamy bubbles. I spent the time to net and scoop out the gunge and wipe the sides which in total took about an hour as it kept appearing .. after a few houra i could see a major difference in the clarity.. but this morning the tub is crystal clear!!! Like paradise!!! I am super happy with this product and will probably just stock up on it cause it is a life saver. Trust me... this is what you need to solve alllll ur clarity issues!! Thanks so much!!!

Our hot tub was a little cloudy and I read about this product on Amazon. Follow the directions according to your tub size and it worked great. The cleaner makes bubbles which attract to any dirt particles in the water which turn into ugly brown bubbles. Scoop out the bubbles with your skimmer , wipe off any residual stuck to the side of your hot tub and after the pump ran for 30 minutes the water was crystal clear. Very Impressed

The water clarified, perhaps not as quickly as we expected, but we do not have a comparative so that it cannot be considered good or bad. Just be patient if you put it in and expect immediate results... it took until the next day to look better (we left it and looked again in the morning).

We use bromine and oxydizer to sanitize our spa. A few months after we got it, all levels were great but the water was not very clear. We cleaned the filters often, shocked the spa, and tried a few products, and this one works like magic! A little goes a long way. We ended up doing 3 treatments over 3 days to clear up all the particles that were too small to be caught in the filter. We use a little, about 1 oz every month or after heavy usage. Haven't had cloudy water since the initial time we cleared our spa water! I highly recommend this product.
