Use every two days until water is clear. Do not use immediately before or after shocking & do not shock during this 48 hour period.

Everything runs better with this stuff. PH, Chlorine, Filter, - You name it. Pool is much easier to maintain with this in it. I tried the First Aid with the PhosFree in it and that wasn't as good. The pure Pool First Aid is GREAT. Especially after a heavy use weekend with lots of suntan oil and the occasional dog in the water. Cleans it right up.

Product claims to get rid of dead algae which will not filter out due to the size. I followed instructions and have been filtering the pool for 3 days straight, but really haven't noticed any difference and there's still dead algae in the pool. Was really hoping this stuff would work because the only other option I've read is to vacuum the pool to waste which means dumping a whole lot of water out of the pool. We are on a well, so not a great option.

I have used this for 4 years.. First time I got it was because the sponges go way to fast for sunscreen & heavy oils in pool so I went to this & oh wow! What a difference it made & better than the sponges that soak up the oils.But I also had pollen floating on top of water at same time I was using for oils only & the pollen was gone! And last year I had an issue with dead algae that I could not get siphoned out but it was only a little & wow it was gone! So yes this is a winner for me. I use once a week for maintenance treatment & I’m good to go.. My fro& relatives always comment on how good my pool water looks every time they come over. Now I have never used on live algae only on dead algae & it’s been the best product ever.

It takes a few applications, like 4 times to get pool water completely clear . It is good stuff

This is now the only clarifier I purchase and use it every time I chlorinate my pool. It keeps my pool clear and coagulates the gunk making it very easy to vacuum. The pool stores charge more for the same product so Amazon is the place to get it.

I'm not sure how much it helps. It had a foam on top until I took out the floating puck and the puck out of the skimmer. I think it does clear the water some but whether from it I'm not sure

Been a long time fan of this particular product and always keep some on hand for those just in case moments of god knows what might happen in your pool. Well god knows what happened in my pool over the July 4th holiday... we had a high bather load and I had a hell of a time trying to balance the water after 4 days of continuous use.I forgot I had this on hand to help me so I threw some in and true to form.... I had the water back and balanced perfectly within 12 hours. This is a must have on hand for these types of situations.My first experience with Using this product is when we had a poor baby skunk drown in the pool one day when I was at work...very sad... but unfortunately the water had been “skunked up” so this product was recommended to me about 8 years ago and We’ve used it on and off since then. It’s great for when you can’t seem to get your water balanced and you’ve done everything else you can think of...or better yet, just skip all the other crap and get this. It really works.*** we had an issue when we opened our pool this summer as the pool cover ripped under the weight of the snow over the winter and we didn’t know it until we went to open it that the cover had been compromised.My heart sank when the cover came off and it looked like swamp water and after I stopped crying about it, I grabbed pool first aid and in combination with the shock you can see how awesome this worked. In 6 days that water went from omg I don’t know how the heck we'll ever swim this summer to... omg that water looks the best it’s ever been!I’m attaching pictures of how fast this stuff cleared the water and went at the organic material such as leaves, debris etc...This stuff is amazing and it’s not hard on your pool pump either. Some products will seize up your pool filter or increase the pressure and this doesn’t do that.See pics for a more visual understanding and you’ll see what I mean.

This stuff saves time and money. My multifunction valve failed and since I’m was winter in AZ I didn’t run the pump. Big mistake. My neighbors landscaper dropped a palm frond in my pool and never said anything. Pool went dark green fast and palm oil leached into my pool water.. after replacing valve I attempted to clean pool and the oil and algae just clogged my de filter within minutes. Used recirculate setting on valve to shock and get pool to a cloudy blue color. I had used this in the past with good luck so I tried again. Pulled filters and cleaned in degreaser overnight. Ran pump with filter and dumped the whole bottle in pool. The next day water was clear. Back flushed and vacuumed pool.....Crystal Clear and Clean Pool Now. Recommended to a friend that had same issue after his pump died. Had same results. Beats spending hundreds on shock and acid or a pool service just to get pool clean. This or the phos-free will be added once a month now as a preventative maintenance.
