Needed a kickstand for my son's bike, we took the original kickstand off to put training wheels on and I have no idea what happened to it. This kickstand is infinitely better than the original. Fit my son's 20" bike perfectly. Installation was a breeze, all you need is the included allen keys. Put the ribbon streamers on my daughter's bike and she loves them.

Kick stand won’t stay in place, it keeps moving and bicycle falls to floor!

The kickstand is easy to install. You'll need a 5/16 hex wrench to attach the kickstand to the bike and a 5/32 hex wrench to make height adjustments. It comes with 2 legs with different lengths, in theory to fit bikes with different wheel sizes. Unfortunate, it did not work on a 20 in BMX bike. The BMX bike has a center slot just as pictured in the item description and there was no problem putting it on (we used the longer leg and at max extension). The problem is that the leg, when it's swung at the down position, is rotated too much forward and not wide enough to the side. So, when the bike leans on the kickstand, it's not at the correct angle to hold the bike up. If the swing doesn't move forward by a couple inches, then it would actually work. Also, even after tightening the 5/16 hex bolt super tight, the bottom plate will still rotate when you try to lean a bike on the kickstand. In summary, the design just didn't work for our 20 in BMX bike.

It was easy to install on my kid's 16" bike and works well enough, but the left pedal has to be forward enough to clear the deployment of the kickstand. Not very convenient, and my six year old has to remember to do that. The handlebar grip streamers are of nice quality due to the fabric ribbons though, unlike the vinyl ribbons that can easily rip off.
