I bought this rocking chair for my great-granddaughter’s first birthday, even though it was recommended for 3+ year olds. It was more expensive than others I viewed, but it was made from ash wood and came fully assembled! The craftsmanship is excellent. No complaints. However, it was unfinished, so I asked my son-in-law to help. He used a non-toxic oil to finish it. She loves it!

We have bought our grandkids on either their 1st or 2nd birthdays an Amish handmade rocker. Grandchild #10 just turned one & this was his birthday present. Hopefully he’ll hang on to it & ha d it down to one of his children. Very, very sturdy & well made.

I wanted a rocking chair for my grandson that could be passed down by him, for years to come, and this chair is definitely it! It comes fully assembled and ready to paint or stain. The craftsmanship quality is excellent, as well as the hardwood used. Dimensions exactly match stated sizes. This little rocking chair is truly built with the high standards us "older" people grew up expecting!
