Just wanted to write about this product. Even though it says it’s 9” it’s considered bigger then you expect. Double check the size in the description before purchasing. If you are planning on installing it behind your tv and within the mount, it might still be too big to fit between the mounts arms.I wish they had a smaller size as it would be a perfect product for that application. Not much else on the market quite like this. I really wanted something like this to have a media box inside it and a faceplate to keep it tidy looking when the tv is pulled out as I wasn’t planning on having any cabinets near the tv.I ended up using the datacom recessed box instead. Smaller but still room for a media device but no face plate.

YES IT FITS! For those that are unsure. The “connect” box has to be placed before you install the faceplate. 4 short screws to remove faceplate if you need to take the “connect” box out. Easy

It works, but once you remove a few knockouts it becomes scarily bendable. The thickness of the plastic seems less than a common plastic electrical box. In my case the box was missing, instruction, cover protection and screws for the trim rim installation. I contacted customer service and guess what? No screws for me. I need to buy by myself. They at least gave me the dimensions: #6-20 Type AB .6 inches. Why not including these important details in the instructions? By they way their 3 min instructional video are semi useless. More "inspirational" than instructions. Not to mention that for over $50 they provide little hardware. Rubber grommets? you need to buy. Screws to secure to the studs? Not included. Straps? Not included. Next time I will try something else.

Needed a media enclosure to put behind my wall mounted tv. This one seemed to be well built and of quality material. Installation was easy and fit perfectly between 16 on center spaced wall studs. Only issue was that it came with a bunch of tape on the outside of it that seemed to be from someone else using and returning the product so that’s why a star is taken away. I paid no attention to it as it was going to be in a wall hidden behind a tv anyway. Wife loves the look of the tv now with no wires sticking out so big plus there

I needed a simple enclosure to house one box and some cabling and that was exactly what this provided me!

nicely designed, well made and easy to install. However if your wall studs are any less than 16in. you will need to make the box fit

I actually got one of these to shove an Odroid H3 into the wall with its power supply, usb cables, monitor cables, sound bar cables etc. It gets a little cramped with everything i have shoved in there but seems to do the job.It took me a little effort to find an outlet that fin in this box (locally). I also had to shave down one side of the outlet cover because the outside frame of the box would not sit properly until I didOverall does what it's supposed to. Just barely fits between standard studs between drywall

I replaced a massive case which had been installed in my house when it was built 20 years ago, which was supposed to be future proof. It was over 24” tall and stuck out of the wall almost 4”. It turns out it wasn’t so future proof after all. There was only one coaxial cable in there and an electrical outlet, since I don’t have a phone landline or cable TV anymore. This case could have handled more a lot more, but I did not need it. I did have to patch up the massive hole left behind, which cost about $30 worth of materials, but so worth it in the end.
