I use these on outdoor IoT projects and they are perfect to for an LTE router and battery. Good seal and easy to drill through for wires (with proper glands)

Love the box. Was the size expected. Opens/closes nicely and the mounting hardware works great. My only comment is that it came with 2 cable grommets that I did not need and will end up in my parts drawer.

I used it to house an on demand water heater for an outdoor shower.Works great for my needs and keeps the unit dry.Seems well built using quality materials and hopefully will survive the hot/direct sunlight but only time will tell.

These are actually very high-quality enclosures. I'm impressed by the build quality, the materials, the fitment tolerances, the proper weather seal around the door, their clean design & look. I have bought a total of five of these so far, some with a clear door and some with the gray door, some in different (smaller) sizes and they all carry the same quality attributes. For the price, they cannot be beat!

Easy to drill a hole in this thing with a step bit. Waterproof. I’ve used it behind a new retaining wall in my backyard to protect the electrical components of a string of outdoor lights. Working great so far.Dock a star because it didn’t include hardware to attach the box to the actual concrete retaining wall (or any surface for that matter). Given the price paid, four screws and anchors should have been included.

My sprinklers control needs to be out of direct sunlight and rain. I ordered this box and it works perfectly! It seals up tight and does a great job! Easy to work with!

This electrical box is being used to house a wireless access point in a dusty environment. The box is well made and has an internal removable perforated panel that allows for easy mounting of devices inside the box. It came with wire glands and mounting brackets. The door and latches seal securely. There are no punchouts for running cables into the box so you will have to drill your own openings but in my case that was good because I used a small wire gland to accomodate a CAT 6 cable.

This is a good made box. Definitely sealed water tight. Just make sure if you put any holes in it for mounting purposes to use a good sealant. I used sikaflex since this was a marine install. Also use dielectric grease where wires pass through the grommet and I even add silicone once the cap is screwed on at the wire entry. It does include all the hardware for install. I chose to replace some of the hardware that was not stainless steel with my own stainless fasteners. The hinges are stainless steel though.

I have a weather station and the outdoor sensors are powered by solar panels. Even though the panels are designed for outdoor use I have had a couple leak in heavy storms. These boxes will put an end to that! They are very strong, seal tightly, and the clear top allows the panel to receive full sunlight. The plastic the sensor is made of deteriorates after years exposed to the elements and this box protects them and the batteries and circuitry inside. If the box eventually breaks down the solar panel will still be like new and I can move it to a new box. The boxes are made of thick, strong plastic that is very sturdy with a thick seal and sturdy latches. The box comes with mounting ears for easy attachment to the roof or wherever you decide to mount it. I am very happy I found these boxes with a clear top and strongly recommend them if you need a sturdy box.
