I bought a couple sets of the 16" (400mm) rods. Was a little suspicious if they'd be any good. As the price was lower than other brands. Man, was I pleasantly surprised! As these Leftfoto ones are better than the other brands I've tried.The internal threads are cleaner. They're laser straight and rigid. And I really love the added touch of tapered ends. Granted, I'll be using them for a different application than camera mounts. But my use case is much more demanding. So the fact that they still impress is really saying something.Highly recommended. I've tried other brands Neewer (terrible), Niceyrig (they're OK), etc. But these Leftfoto ones are hands down the best!.

They’re ok. A little on the cheap side. The material is quite soft compared to steel or carbon rods. They’re good in an emergency or for a beginner rig, and I would say price reflects.

Can't complain about these rods, they match the described dimensions and they are straight, stiff and lightweight. They’re more than sturdy enough, even for heavy camera rigs and gear. The anodising on them is clean and consistent on both rods and they look great. They arrived in a standard bubble-wrap padded envelope which keeps them in tip-top shape in shipping and inside the envelope they are placed inside a large grip-seal pouch and each threaded end of the rods is protected with a silicone insert.I’m not really sure why the longest rods are cheaper than these 400 mm ones but other than that oddity I have zero problems recommending these.

Im using these for my new camera rigs and work very well, fit as there should and stong enough for my cameras.
