These work nicely to provide even soft light for smaller shots. I think it's geared more towards product shoots than people shoots. The aren't very bright, so they need to be fairly close to subject to really illuminate. That being said, the light is even and that's a plus. The only issue I have with them is the cord length. If the tripod is set to the maximum height, the cord is very short. So you need an extension cord unless you are set up right next to an outlet.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it was fine - not amazing, but got the job done. Then suddenly, I took it out the box and heard rattling. Turns out some screws had fallen off of one of the three LED panels, causing it to detach and the connector to break. I never dropped this thing and always kept it in its box when I wasn't using it. The most strenuous action it saw was when I'd port it along to a friend's house in a car. Guess you get what you pay for. DO NOT BUY IT!!!

This system works well for the price but the lights are not heavy duty and they plug in to a usb port. Having an actual battery or regular plug would be more useful.

These lights have proved very handy when making videos and taking photos. Very bright clean light and solid easy to take up and down stands. Easy to set up with minimal fuss. All in all very pleased with them.

The Ci-Fotto led panel lights come in at a crazy value, with two stands, two lights, and two ball head attachments. Surely there is no better deal on two lights right now and for that I commend them. These lights are absolutely perfect for streamers and those looking to improve their webcam lighting. On the proffesional side they are a bit weak though I have used them as accent and background lighting. The usb functionality of these makes them easy and they in fact can be used with some usb power banks. They are decently bright though definitely not crazy and unfortunately the light isn't quite as soft as the images suggest.I'm giving these 5 stars because they are a crazy value and for live streaming or video calls they are absolutely perfect. However, they lack some major features to take them to a proffesional level. The first off being that the power intake on these seems to be inconsistent. When I have plugged these into a portable battery it sometimes just shuts off. I think the power draw on these fluctuates and certain batteries detect that as them turning off. The other major weakness is the brightness and color balances available. These lights only have 3 available color spaces and they're strange ones. It is very hard to use these with other proffesional lights in a white balanced setting. Unless, of course, you want to set all of your lights to a strange number somewhere in the middle of the range. Now of course for the price that's why these are not meant to be proffesional! They are basic, slightly softened, LED panels. They work great for some uses and at least have some built in clips you can place color gels in front of. For the money you won't get any light kit cheaper, and it's still better than using a desk lamp for your lighting! I definitely recommend this kit to beginners!

This is a decent beginner set if you're looking to build up some entry-level continuous lighting equipment, but the cheap price will come at the cost of a complete lack of fine-tune adjustments.I *believe* there are 10 levels of brightness. I can't seem to find anything on the product page that says how many steps there are, but I can tell you that my eyes can only notice a difference between the first six steps and nothing else. The highest four clicks still seem to register as I'll have to step back down four times before I can once again see any decrease in brightness levels, but otherwise that last "40%" has no discernable difference in brightness to me. The dimmest option available is also still plenty bright, so overall there isn't a wide range of brightness/lumens to play around with (especially compared to modern RGB video lights that let you step in 1% increments all the way down to 1% brightness).Color temperature is also limited to the three options as described in the product page, though I was at least surprised to see the light has physical tabs to support color gels (note: none are actually included). The built-in diffusion is decent enough, but IMO these lights work best when paired with a basic diffuser panel placed in front. And if you're looking for an even larger light source, I was pleased to see the frames support a basic hotshoe attachment at the top so you can actually combine both lights onto a single unit.I think I was most surprised by the two included stands, as they feel pretty large and sturdy compared to some other basic stands I've collected over the years. It almost feels like overkill since the two light panels are each lighter than my phone, so that's a bonus.I also didn't notice any heating issues during my average period of use. The 5v/2A brick I was using (not included) may have felt a tad warm after 40 minutes or so, but honestly no more so than if it were being used to charge anything else like a phone. I couldn't feel any extra warmth coming from the light or its switch.I had originally intended to use these for toy and product photography, but the lack of fine control doesn't make them as suitable for this task. I think these lights work best for larger subjects, and for when you just need to flood an area with extra lighting, and for those basic tasks this set gets the job done.

There are small, light weight studio lights that work well for basic product shots.15W per light panel. 96 white LEDs and 96 amber LEDs. 79" cord ending in a USB-A plug.PROS* Super light weight.* Cool running LED lights that can be dimmed or brightened with the control buttons.* Three colors: Amber, white, and a 50/50 mix of both.* Lots of flexibility in tripod height (even stable when flat on the floor as I've shown).* Standard 1/4" screws and sockets allows you to use this with lots of photo equipment.* Nice ball heads.CONS* The tripod legs don't lock securely enough to hold much weight, so that makes the tripods useless for supporting a camera, soft box, etc.* The power cords are short if using the tripods at full height, so you might need extension cords in addition to USB chargers.* Not really that bright unless they are positioned close to the subject.Subjectively, the light looks good -- very white, very amber, and a reasonable mix if shooting portraits. With a little work in post, it should be easy to get pleasing results from these lights.Objectively, truly accurate color might be a problem -- so more work for you in post. Shooting raw (zero white balance, raw spectrum results) showed me about a 20% boost in the blue channel. As for the 97+ CRI rating, CRI is only really applicable to a black-body light source, like the sun, incandescent bulbs, fire, etc. "White" LEDs emit a non-uniform (non bell shaped) color spectrum. This has varied results on film emulsions and digital camera sensors. While high CRI on LED lights is generally good, it doesn't exactly translate to high color accuracy. The bottom line: While professional photographers will want something different than these lights, hobbyist photographers should definitely snatch these up.

I decided to get this kit because I already had some softbox light, but they are not strong enough to do the job I want. It seemed like this would be the perfect product to add to my kit.Included in the packaging are 2 LED panels, 2 tripods, 2 add on to adjust the light angle and a user guide. Each panel has a total of 192 LEDS. They can be powered by a USB block or portable battery that can provide 15 watts (5V and 3A). The controls can be found on the USB cable and the adjustments are as follows: an on/off switch, a mode switch to change the temperature between 2800k, 4800k and 6500k, and two buttons to adjust the brightness. For the light tripods, they can be adjusted from a height of 90cm to 173cm, which should be enough for any kind of project. The light can be either installed like a camera mount (you turn the light on the screw) or the stand also supports spigot stud mounted lighting. The lights work very well and are strong enough for my use case. The adjustments are more than fine for simple works. It could have been nice if USB bricks were included to power on the lights. As for the stands, this is the weak part of the kit. They work well, but are still on the cheaper side considering the rest of the kit. They will do the job, but could be something to replace over time for something less cheap.Even if the stands feel a bit cheap, what you get in the kit for the price is really amazing. It will get you started on your photo or video project for not a lot and should last you for a while. I highly recommend this kit since it will be more than enough.
