I got these for my fiancé as she is learning the ukulele. The pics helped a lot with finger fatigue as well as getting a consistent tone from the instrument.Recommended

Great product! Fast Service. Leather picks are a good choice for nylon strings. These picks have holes in the center that enable a more secure grip to help avoid dropping the pick.

I have owned and played moderately for a month now. I have only used 1 of the 4 picks during that time period. So I'll get straight to it.Pros:-This brand is by far the best uke pick I have ever played with.-Sound NATURAL playing through amplifier or only acoustic.-Are extremely easy to hold.Cons:-Expensive. If you plan on playing a hour plus a day. Plan on spending $30-$50 a year just on these picks.-Don't last. As seen in the pictures. That is 1 month of playing moderately on nylon strings.Overall I will probably only use these for shows and use felt picks to practice with because I personally feel even $30 dollars on picks a year is outrageous. Especially ones that do not last. I hope the company improves the quality and gives the buyer more quantity.

As a guitar player, turned ukulele player, I began playing the uke with my fingers. I tried using a nylon flat pick but it would slide around between my fingers for some reason. I tried using a felt pick but didn’t care for the sound. These leather picks are perfect for playing a ukulele. The leather is stiff enough to produce a clear sound but soft enough not to sound harsh. The diamond shaped hole in the center of the pick allows the player to have a secure grip on the pick. Overall these picks are outstanding!

These seem like great picks for ukulele (I have 25, so I am familiar with a fairly wide range). The sound is great, not so strident as a plastic or nylon guitar pick, not so soft as a felt pick (I will still be 95% a finger-style player, but I wanted to try some picks). But, . . . I really do not like the center hole aspect of these or other leather picks (I purchased two different kinds — Lohanu (significant center hole) and Diamond (rather large center hole). To my feel, the open center hole SIGNIFICANTLY lessens the sense that you are in control of the pick, and thus lessens the ability to have much nuance in playing. With no intention of wanting to sound condescending, if you are buying these picks to purely strum simple up-down-up-down-up-down, and dropping the pick is an issue, these may be great. But you lose a LOT of sensitive feel (almost all, in my sense) with the center hole. Frankly, I just ordered solid leather picks, and I’ll probably give these, and the other center-hole picks, to others.
