I have been playing guitar for 55 years, worst pick I have ever used, sorry but just not for me.

It takes some time to get used to the feel of it but the way they sound on the strings makes up for it. I highly recommend these. They are easy to hold with a good texture.

The original Goonis pick were made of a much better material that was hard like Delrin and the shape was brilliant. It made it so you could keep your grip more relaxed. These are trhe same shape but made of a soft nylon so the edges fray quickly with moderate playing - like in one practice session. Plus the tone is terrible because of the soft material. Please bring back the original material picks and sell these to people who think they need gimmicks like ruffles and ridges to hold onto.

Great form and feel but tough to use for strumming. Felt too stiff for me. I returned them.

The pick design is outstanding. I generally have an issue with picks rotating between my fingers when I play. The grip and indention on these prevents that from happening and so increases my consistency and accuracy. The grip area is very thick and tapers down to proper thickness close to the picking edge. The material compliments the design as it is firm but not slick. I will definitely be buying more!

Wasn't sure what to expect out of these picks. I've tried MANY other picks looking for a comfortable feel that makes playing smoother...so I gave these Goonis picks a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. They have a no slip grip on both sides but with each side a different feel. Depending on how you hold the pick and play, you have 2 options...the one side gives you certain grip and feel and flip the pick over to get a different angle and grip....genius. Not sure of the material, but it seems to hold up and feel great and I haven't had any problems with the pick chipping or filing down after playing. I don't see how anybody wouldn't be able to find these worth the try. They might end up being what you have been looking for. Would recommend trying the variety pack with the different gauges and see which ones fit your playing just right. Anything from acoustic, hard rock and all between. The different gauges will have you covered. 2 thumbs up.
