The product is satisfactory for its intended purpose, however, the zipper's quality is quite poor and prone to breakage. Unfortunately, repair or replacement is not possible without purchasing a new bag.

I didn't have great expectations. However, this is the absolute best solution I have found for getting leaves out of the pool quickly and easily. Hook it up to the end of the pool pole, turn it on and go at it. The leaves are gone in less time than it would take me to even setup a vacuum or water powered leaf net. The only minor downside is that acorns can occasionally jam the impeller but it is super easy to remove it and get going again. Bigger acorns don't get stuck, just the small ones and it is still so much easier than hooking up the vacuum or water hose. It is hands down the best money I've ever spent on pool equipment.

I was ready to return this .. instructions were extremely sparse. The first time I turned it on it didn’t work. The propeller turned twice and stopped. I was so upset, but then I went back and reread the reviews and in the first one it specifically said the unit has to be in the water before it starts to work there are two sensors that detect the unit is in the water. So on my second try it worked great and I had my16 x 32 Pool emptied of leaves in 20 minutes! We are surrounded by trees, and there were a lot of leaves in there

I charged the cleaner overnight. The indicator light on the charger became green indicating that the battery was fully charged. When I press on the power button, the power light turns on and stays blue. But the spiral impeller does not move at all. I thought I got a bad one. Before I gave up, I gave it a last try in the pool. It turns out you need to put the cleaner under the water before it start to work. This cleaner works great and picks up everything that the skimmer does. I would appreciate it if the instructions mentioned how to get it started. That is very important for first time users of such cleaners.

We were late opening our pool this year and we paid for it dearly. There was muck on the bottom of the pool that took forever to get out. This would have done a great job getting it out, and would have made the whole process faster and easier. We have an above ground pool that is surrounded by a deck, so putting on a cover is not really an option if we want to use our deck for other purposes. Luckily, we don’t get much in the way of debris landing in the pool. We do, however, get corn husks from the farm across the road. A lot of them. Luckily that is only one day, when the harvest it, so it’s not an all-season thing. If we do not clean them up soon, and wait until spring, they turn into muck. We got this leaf eater for the corn husks. I won’t get to try it out on corn husks for another few months or so. For now, I just tested it on debris that happens to land in our pool. It did a great job of picking up the debris. The suction is great. I am confident it will be able to take care of the corn husks that land in our pool. It is not heavy at all. It automatically shuts off when you pull it out of the pool. When you put it in the pool, you hold down the power button until you see the power button light up, and then stick it in. The suction will start within about 5 seconds of putting it into water. It did fit my standard pool pole and was easy to maneuver. You do have to take your time. Otherwise, the current from you moving it too fast will push the debris out of the way before the vacuum can get to it. The bags are big, and it comes with two. The bags have weights at the trop, but the bags do expand upwards fully. When you pull it out, the weight on the bag, pulls the bag down, which closes off the opening, keeping the debris from falling out. Overall, I really like this. I wish I would have had it when I opened the pool.

I ordered this pool vacuum in August of this year since the last one I had for 2 years stopped working. I have only had this pool vacuum for a little over a ONE MONTH and have only used it TWICE since getting it. It will not turn on so it either doesn't charge or just isnt working. I even bought a new charger for it just in case and still nothing. I am very annoyed and frankly pissed off. Do NOT buy this. It is a waste of money.

If you have a above ground pool this will save you. Charges quick, easy to use and pick up so much dirt and debris. Great functionality and design. Before it took my husband hours to clean our pool no it takes roughly 30 minutes
