I recently purchased the Poolmaster 28316 Swimming Pool Leaf Vacuum from the Premier Collection, and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance! This vacuum has made cleaning my pool a breeze. With its sturdy design and powerful suction, it effortlessly glides across the bottom, picking up leaves and debris in no time. The ease of use is a standout feature; simply connect it to your pool's garden hose, and you’re ready to go! The large collection bag holds a significant amount of debris, reducing the need for constant emptying. I've also noticed that it manages to reach corners and tight spaces that other vacuums struggle with.Plus, its lightweight construction makes it easy to maneuver, which is a bonus for someone like me who isn't particularly strong! Overall, the Poolmaster 28316 is an excellent tool for keeping your pool clean and inviting. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient leaf vacuum!

Ok, this thing really, really works well. I was skeptical at first and intially had my reservations about this product. Remove from box, attached the net, hook up to a hose and a pool pole and you are good to go. From the time I turned on the hose to the time I shut it off, it took about 15 minutes. This thing guzzled up all the leaves at the bottom of the pool. Meanwhile, the mechanical pool sweeper keeps getting stuck on edges, etc. Buy this product and you will be amazed at how fast and efficient it is at ridding your pool of leaves.

It’s a good pool vacuum but it needs to be a little heavier as it floats pretty bad.

We bought a house with a pool...and trees...lots and lots of trees. We have pecans, oaks, maples, and more. Our pool has been a losing battle every fall. Sometimes our lines get clogged. Sometimes our skimmers get clogged. Sometime we just say "forget it" and let it go until spring. I decided to try the leaf vacuum after my husband informed me that he needed the pool clean on January 1st for a polar plunge party. Oh boy! I got the vacuum, hooked it up with the hose and went to town.Cons: 1) a cold garden hose is not very maliable and makes it hard to maneuver the vacuum, 2) the bags do not attach well, I had to tie the string in a knot to get it to stay attached, 3) the vacuum wanted to float so required a significant amount of effort to keep it on the floor of the pool.Pros: it got the job done. The attached photo was after the inaugural 5 minutes of vacuuming. While the vacuum can be cumbersome, it is effective. That makes it well worth the money for me!

It works ok but it takes very long time to clean the leaves. If you have a small pool it could be fine. But our pool is 22meters by 8 meters and you will spend hours to do it. Better to have a robot.

After reading some of reviews was lil skeptical but figured for piece was worth a try, came quickly was easy to hook up to normal garden hose gave it a try on my 18’ x 48” above ground pool I used the fine mesh bag and it cleaned up almost all of the dirt, sand, leaves etc now I use when ever I need to top up pool so I can fill and clean simultaneously, would definitely buy again if I needed to!

I am so pleased with this pool vacuum. I have tried 5 other vacuum systems ranging in price from $30 to $300, and this is the only one that works. And it works well! Is such a nice larger size that it easily picks up leaves and all other debris that drops to the bottom of the pool. No set up required; just plug in garden hose, put netting on (I used a large elastic in addition to the draw cord), and that's it. Would recommend to anybody.

For the money, this is a good addition to pool maintenance. Seems well made and is easy to use.I have a 7m by 3m pool with a few nearby trees. During Autumn it’s usually got a fair amount of leave litter sat at the bottom of the pool. I bought this so I could remove the majority of that before dropping in the creepy crawly. It works well but a few things to note - it is not a powerful vacuum, it works at a slow pace (you have to go at the pace of a creepy crawley pool cleaner) and catches about 80% of the leaf litter. It doesn’t catch twigs. The bag is just big enough but it takes a bit of technique to avoid it tangling on the pool pole while moving it under water. So with some practice, this is actually pretty useful. One thing to note - if you try to change the bag while the hose is running you’ll get a face full of water . . . .

Well I was a little skeptical because of some of the bad reviews but I decided it was worth a try since it costs less than one trip by the pool company. I took advice from a few other reviewers and made sure the string was tight and that I placed a tennis ball in the bag. That being said, when it arrived I was a little disappointed because it was a box that had been opened and they had put it together. After my initial being a little miffed about it being not brand new, I was actually glad I didn't have to put it together. All in all though I have used it several times, it got a BUNCH of leaves and dirt out of the pool for me and it was very easy to set it up. Definately worth the $60.

Bought this vaccum to replace the one I had after it started to fall apart. Nice pretty unit, however does not do the job of cleaning pool. Old one that I replaced there was enough water pressure that made collection bag stand up straight. This one does not. Have to note I get water from from a private well pwith water pressure of 35 psi. Have slowly tried to drill out water jets but it has not made much difference. I think the removal of restriction at point of hose attachment might it work better.
