Shard of metal splinters in my hand and lots of metal paint flaking off. Doesn’t do stairs flat like pics show but I suppose better than a regular ladder

This inexpensive scaffold was worth the money, but it is definitely not for professional use. The fit and finish are adequate but not stellar. It seemed a little wobbly -- I weigh 175 lbs and I would not recommend it for anyone heavier.

Awesome for uneven ground. I had all four legs at different lengths. Feels a little wobbly but worked very well. Folds up compact. For outside on soil, you will need a wood base to not sink in the ground but should be awesome around the house or on the stairs. Some of the joints looked a little thin possibly. Hopefully they'll last. No problems now though.

I needed something to clean our big lakeside window. I tried ladders and poles but couldn’t keep a good steady pressure on window with squeegee with that method. Window always had streaks. Use this scaffold today and window came out great! Had to move a little to get edges but still way easier. I would give it a 5 star except the tie to hold it folded is cheap and the paint nicks from just use. I did not scratch it with anything just operating the legs.Still worth it.

I bought this primarily so that I could replace a lighting fixture in an enclosed staircase. I have now used it for that and for replacing a fan on an 11 foot ceiling (I am 5'5"). Now, is this the most high quality piece of equipment? No. It's already flaking off paint and the edges are very sharp (either be very careful or use the included gloves while setting up/taking down). That said, for $150? This thing is amazing. It is very sturdy once set up and can hold two adults with no issues. This is the only reasonably priced scaffolding I could find that allows you to adjust by several feet on one side so you can use it on a staircase. It is long enough that you can put all your tools on the scaffolding with you so you don't have to keep going up and down a ladder to grab different items that you need, which is super convenient. It also folds up really small for easy storage. I'm hoping it won't rust so we can continue to use it for a long time, but overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great price, compact, easy to set up, break down and store. Only negative was it was missing one of the wing nut bolts to secure one side of the legs so I had to make a trip to the hardware store to get this bolt but despite that I still give this product 5 stars. Currently using it to I stall new windows and replace old windows on the 1st floor of my house. The size is perfect. Then will use for painting inside my house

Lightweight but very sturdy. Used it for painting our house (i now know why people hire painters). Anyways, the house turned out great and both me and my husband could be on it at the same time. Highly recommend!

This scaffold has been miraculous for my needs. I am repainting my 100 year old house. Despite owning an 8 foot and a 10 foot stepladder, as well as an extension ladder, none of them met my needs when painting three areas of the house that involved uneven footing for a ladder.I included a photo of the way I used this scaffolding to reach the top three layers of the cedar shake shingles along the back stairway of my house. I had another similar stairway where I used the scaffolding and I also needed it on one side of the garage because there is a terraced flower garden there.I am 67 years old, so I was initially frightened to get on it after I set it up. However, I now feel very secure using it after knowing it has never rocked at all during at least 50 hours of use. To make sure of that, I set it up very carefully each time I use it. Don't be hasty; make sure that all the pieces are exactly where they should be before you get on it, especially the angled braces that keep the whole thing fully extended. Make sure you have inserted the cotter pins correctly and tightened the bolts every time. Be sure to check that all four legs are balanced and on secure footing. Sometimes you have to move the scaffold around a little until all four feet are planted in a balanced manner. One of my favorite things about this scaffold is how lightweight it is. At only 20 pounds, and with the two carrying straps, it is a piece of cake to carry and set up. I weight 125 pounds and appreciate that this scaffold is so much lighter than the extension ladder I use.I set the scaffold up with it laying on its side and then lift it into position. I always climb onto it from the place closest to the horizontal platform. In the picture of the scaffold set up along my stairs, I climb onto it from the top stair of the staircase. I put a board on top of the platform so it is easier on my knees to climb onto and off of. You won't see a Yurchenko dismount from me. My mount and dismount are more like an extreme geriatric mount and dismount, but I feel safe getting on and getting off.The platform is wide enough that I can sit on it comfortably and stand on it easily. It causes so much less leg fatigue than standing on a ladder. It takes only a couple of minutes to take it down.Upon arrival, it had quite a few paint chips and some of the spongy pads were a little torn up, but nothing that affects how great this thing is. I think this is such a value and I will get a ton of use out of it. My neighbor thought it was so cool looking, that she bought one for herself to use as a plant stand under her long horizontal window. She is a big fan of mid-century modern design.I also put a board over the horizontal platform because that is easier on my knees when I climb up on it.
