Feature
This switch is suitable for triggering small current circuits and is not suitable for power switches.
SW-520D is a commonly available roller-ball type tilt sensor which consists of two conductive elements (poles) and a conductive free mass (rolling ball), encapsulated in the same case.
The switch would be in the OFF position in the horizontal positon, ON positon when raised to 15-90 degree or shakes.
When the OFF end of the switch is lower than the horizontal angle by 15 degrees, it is difficult to trigger conduction when shaking.
Widely used in electronic toys, medical electronics, car audio, automatic control systems, testing and measuring equipment, automotive transportation and so on.

The contacts don't always make a good connection. of the five i tried, only one worked kinda ok. I really don't want a switch that i have to keep shaking to make work.

Perfect replacement for rockband guitars rebuild. Only took a little soldering and now the tilt feature works again.

I put lights in the bed of my truck and wired them through this, which I installed in my tailgate. Now when I open my tailgate, the lights come on and when I close it, they go off...works perfectly.Update...2 months later, stopped working. Took it apart and found little ball rusted in place. Even though never got wet, humidity was enough to rust it. NOT sealed!
