This is a good frame if you want to have a large flat hammock and you don't have two trees to use. It's also easy to move it around so the hammock becomes portable.

Perfect solution when you're short two properly spaced trees and don't feel like digging holes for posts. Easy to assemble and looks good as well.

This is a very sturdy stand. Hubby said it only took a few minutes to put together besides the one bolt that was missing. The box was pretty damaged when it arrived, so I was Impressed that it wasn't missing more! Lol The one extra that hubby felt may help this as selling point is that one end have wheels. That way, it can be wheeled over to another section of yard, instead of dragging it. However, it isNot THAT heavy to move around, it's just tougher in grass Without wheels! Lol. So far, it has lasted the spring and summer. This pic is from a review on a new hammock I bought, I don't know why this hammock stand review "suddenly disappeared", but amazon sometimes does that. I'll come back and update of rust or anything else develops. So far, it's a great, Sturdy hammock!Disclaimer: I received this item at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. This hammock is PERFECT! When it was shipped to me the box did get damaged and a pole was missing but after the company sent me a replacement I was able to put it together in 5 minutes! The two beams lay out and connect to the base pole by sliding in and the little metal button just needs to be aligned with the hole and pop in. Once you see that, it is ready to go to the next step which is inserting the next 2 upright beams the same way. SO easy! Once attached you just need to either hang your hammock (which should come with metal chains) or use the enclosed chains to extend the reach a bit for a smaller hammock. The arms have two built in hooks for hanging. My hammock needed the additional chain length so I used the included chains on both ends and hooked my hammock right into those chains. SO easy!Upon my first use I realized I need to back up to the hammock, sit gently and swivel around sideways in the center of the hammock, otherwise you may become unbalanced and fall. I have a double hammock (a bit wider than most standard hammocks) and it worked perfectly on this stand. I will say that is is BIG and takes up a good 15” by about 4” because my hammock is wider than most but it only took me 5 minutes to take off the side beams and move everything into storage when I am not using it. The color is perfect, just as I expected it to be. It matched my hammock swing perfectly. This hammick stand is very durable solid piece of equipment for uour backyard hammock. Only tjings I woould change is make the end pieces ble to go higher for a higher hanging hammock and maybe some holes in end pieces to run a tight ridgeline
