The bulbs fit perfectly into my sons lava lamp. The stock one it came with did not last long. I bought this pack to replace it and it seems to be working out just fine. The bulb seems to be limiting the appropriate amount of heat.

Fixed my sons lava lamp, created the proper heat and light. Heats up the lamp quick aswell. The picture is me turning it back on after it cooled down to show the brightness.

My son and daughter both have lava lamps. One takes a round bulb and the other had this kind of bulb. I tried using a round bulb in the one, but it took significantly longer to heat up compared to this style. I would switch the other to this style bulb too but the lamp's wattage is lower. I'd recommend this style before the normal small round bulb, but just check the wattage of the lamp before switching.

These replacement bulbs are like the unsung heroes of the lava lamp universe. They work so well, it’s almost like they were born for this job—which, I guess, they were. The 30W power ensures the wax gets to that perfect “lava flow” state, and the glow? Let’s just say it’s mood lighting on steroids.One bulb heated up my lamp so well that I half-expected it to start bubbling out motivational quotes. “Keep glowing, you’re doing great!” If you’re worried about them being too hot, well, that’s just part of the charm. Lava lamps are supposed to feel like you’re housing a miniature sun, right?Plus, it’s a 4-pack, so when one eventually burns out, you can feel smug about having backup brilliance on deck. Pro tip: Don’t use these bulbs for anything else unless you’re ready for a light show or toasting marshmallows indoors.Highly recommend. These bulbs truly shine—literally and figuratively!
