I got this as a replacement for one I misplaced. That one was great and had a beautiful lower frequency long sustain sound, and I thought it was awesome they engineered it so the mallet could be stored inside, as otherwise I would likely have lost it.The new one, although looking superficially the same, has two glaring defects:1. The mallet head is now a size where it gets stuck when in storage, requiring a very specifically sized item or neetlenose plyers, depending on which end you put in first, to extract.2. The sound is significantly higher pitched, I find it aggressively aggravating instead of relaxing like the old one.The first one could be solved by sanding down some of the rubber on the mallet, however I'm afraid that would initiate a process of it breaking apart completely.I can't think of any way to change the tone, short of learning music related physics and then going at the thing with a Dremel tool and angle grinder.Going to return and try some other similar product. A shame because this used to be an awesome 5-star product.Oh and to answer the obvious question: Yes I am totally sure I got the same size as before. Although I may try the bigger one to see if it also has these issues.

Arrived on time which was great. Sounded great which was even better. Has an Eb tonic which pretty much allows for a cool drone against other instruments playing in keys with an Eb in the diatonic scale. Love the wah sound.

I ordered this for my classroom to use for mindfulness/meditation. It has a great sound and it is heavy and great quality! My students enjoy having a turn ringing it.

Maybe it will have limited use....but this thing sounds otherworldly and it’s fun to use! Sturdy and good-looking, I think it will last a very long time.

Negli anni avevo provato diversi vibra-tone e sinceramente non mi avevano entusiasmato. Mi sono deciso ad acquistare questo prodotto dopo che un collega professionista come me mi ha convinto e devo dire tutto OK. Lo strumento in questione, è maneggevole, robusto e soprattutto produce degli effetti sonori molto interessanti, anche la bacchetta allegata conferma quanto sopra esposto. Certamente il marchio LP, si paga, potrebbe certamente avere un costo minore, ma è una scelta personale.Consigliato a chi interessano effetti buoni e a chi interessa un prodotto di marca piu' che buono.

I purchased this for mindfulness in schools training be ause singing bowls of any decent size are so pricey. I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived at how well made this instrument is. I love the fun teal color, too. Although I'd prefer it to be louder when struck, the tone is clear and long lasting. I will definitely purchase the larger one in the future as well.

I purchased this as a mindfulness bell to share mindfulness with children and adults. It is an effective alternative to an antique singing bowl and the kids and I enjoy using it to make music or sounds for listening/mindfulness. So glad Mindful Schools recommended this to me.

This was a great instrument to add to our pool of home instruments. We love the vibratone which comes in handy for meditation sessions or just for playing around! The sound is soothing and met our needs for a simple percussion!
