When I ordered this I was worried about putting it together and also about quality. It did not take me long to put together and I did it alone. It is great, so far I really like it, had it in my office for 2 weeks now. Wish I bought two, or 3. May order more.

Great purchase, works out perfectly for me and I’m able to put a lamp and my printer on top. I also store my printing supplies in the bottom drawer. My husband said the screws stripped easily so he went and bought better screws.

Needed a different file system. Love this lateral file cabinet! Color was what I expected and assembly was easy. Good quality and sturdy. Looks great in my house!!

Impressive file cabinet. They employ a very clever design in which components clip into one another and are held together by bending tabs. This should be easy to complete if you can put together medium-to-advanced Lego sets; just pay close attention to the instructions. To bend some of the tabs, a regular size flat blade screwdriver will be required. To make sure the elements of the clip together are securely seated, a rubber mallet can also be helpful. Even though I am mechanically inclined, it took me around 45 minutes to lug the parts downstairs and assemble. With no seam gaps and perfectly fitting drawers that glide smoothly on ball bearing sliders, everything fit together incredibly well. It was a welcome surprise to see so many people gather.

I’m really impressed with this file cabinet. It was easy to put together on my own, and I’ll definitely be getting another one. I got the 3-drawer model for files and another 3-drawer one for computer stuff and hobbies. Shipping was excellent—it was packed really well. The design is clever, with parts snapping together and being held by bending tabs. The packaging kept everything safe during shipping. The video and written instructions made assembly pretty simple, and they even included cotton gloves and a screwdriver. The only tricky part was fitting in the drawers, which might need two people. If you’re comfortable with medium-to-advanced Lego sets, you should be fine—just follow the instructions closely. You’ll need a flathead screwdriver to bend some tabs, and a rubber mallet can help make sure everything fits securely.

Like: Packaging was excellent with metal reinforced corners in the box, so everything arrived undamaged. There are many parts to assemble, but all of them fit together (holes aligned, etc). The assembly instructions, supplemented by the video, were easy to follow (1 step per page), though the lock assembly was a little complicated. All of the parts were labeled, and the box included gloves and a screwdriver as advertised. Finally, customer support is outstanding. They quickly gave me a solution to a problem I had when one drawer went off its side rail.Improvement needed: I took off one star because the side rail support for the double-wide cabinet drawers looks too weak to me. This cabinet is replacing a 50 year old cabinet that uses a sliding base to hold the drawer, so the weight of the drawer is supported from below rather than on the side. The side rails made it difficult to initially load the drawers into the cabinet since the side rails have a narrow track into which you slot the drawers. If not done precisely, the drawer may come off the side rail. When done precisely, though, it works ok.Unfortunately, I noticed that competitors use the same side rail drawer support design, so buyers may not be able to find the bottom slide design anymore.Bottom line, I’ve loaded the cabinet and it is operating fine, so I’m pleased with the purchase and would buy it again.

DO NOT BUY. terrible product. directional video would not work. instructions were not clear. the drawer got stuck inside and we had to throw the entire cabinet away. it was so hard to put together that the drawer was all scratched. I really would not even give this product a 1
