When my door latch gave up the ghost on my Class C RV I was really upset, It was very cold out and I didn't want to go through the aggravation or expense of trying to get the RV Door repaired at an RV center. Little was I to know just how simple a fix this is. Anyone with a screwdriver can put one of these in. There was even a video put out by the seller to help you with the installation. The lock comes with 4 individual keys to you won't have to go and make any. Both the dead bolt and the regular lock use the same key so there won't be any switching of keys in the dark. Sturdy construction and in two colors (White and Black). The Lock and replacement Strike plate are included along with all the replacement screws that you might need. It was well worth the price and I encourage you to buy it if you need to have this replaced.

I own a 2001 THOR class C. My OEM TriMark brand latch broke and when that happened I dreaded a huge repair bill. After checking Amazon.ca I saw this Latch.it kit for a very affordable price as compared to the TriMark at twice the price. The installation was easy as it is a direct replacement. My door hole is 4.75 tall x 4.875 wide. The description tells about a smaller hole requirement. No problem with fitment. The only issue I had was that THOR manufacturing is not very accurate as I had to modify the door frame slot to fit the new striker plate. Latchit does not give the correct bolts (needs to be a button head style) to mount the plate so a trip to the fastener store is required. Basically I made improvements because they (THOR) don't take the time to do builds well, they "do dirty deeds done dirt cheap! " My background is a Machinist and I approve this quality product.

Fit perfectly, replaced the original that the sliding locking mechanism broke and left the door permanently closed. The side towards the front of the RV is not the same shape as the old one. Had to clean up the door surface to remove the line / tape from h to he old one. Easy enough to install and works great. Added bonus we now only need one key, not 2 like before.

I am pleased with the lock but I had to do some tweaking to make it fit, which took patience and time! Now I have installed the lock, it works well.

I was camping when my original door latch on my 2015 sunseeker class B RV gave out. I ordered one and had it within a few days. i wanted the keyless version but it was going to take a few more days and since i was on vacation using the door, i needed one quickly.It installed and fitted perfectly.the issue i had was the fit in combination with the screen door. the inside latch was bigger and interfered with the screen door. you could close it and open it from the outside but could not open the door from the inside. the handle hit the screen door. I also have to pull the screen door away from the handle to unhook it from the main door. After some adjustments, it is now working from the inside but i still need to unhook the screen door from the main door if i just want to use the screen door and keep the main door open. i don't do this often so not a big issue.i do feel there is a slight safety issue since my handle does not fully close on the inside. i just make sure i secure the deadbolt when traveling which i have always done anyway.the rest of the new latch works fine. i like the inside locking knobs. they are easy to see and use.
