Worked great, very good quality, and easy instal - should last a lifetimel! Just used the original spring and retainer since the retainer was a slightly different size. No biggie, lot's of YouTube videos about it that I suggest you watch so you're prepared for it.

Previous factory clip was plastic and broke within a year. Ordered these last year, kept forgetting to install. Been using hillbilly rope, 😀 do wish there were instructions since we couldn't reference old part. But, fiddled around and got it. Traveling with RV tomorrow. Will update on performance

Purchased these when the factory plastic one broke after just two season. These are metal which I like, and they seem to be of higher quality then the factory. Had this installed for two months of use now and working good. The spring tension is a little weaker than the original factory but that is fine as it is easier to latch. Would recommend.

This replaced the replacement of plastic crap , then cheap metal from RV dealer....this is far better than the 1st ones installed. Back end has a "V" attachment that holds it very nicely in place.
