I just opened this about 10 minutes ago. Assembly was difficult because the handle will not raise up far enough vertically to install the cutting unit. After I managed to get it in, I was able to do about 5 rounds of business cards and then the cheap/thin metal piece at the top of the cutting unit bent! I was not using excessive pressure and was only cutting about 10 business cards at a time (way less than the advertised cutting capacity for the unit). It now will not work at all. It just bends and the blade will not go down. For the price, I was hoping this would be made of more durable materials!

My workmate brought her corner rounder from her old print shop. It had to be at least 25 years old. Worked perfectly, so much to my surprise I checked Amazon and they still make one. Works great. I also bought the 1/8 ‘’ blade. I use it to laminate plastic ID cards.

This corner round has a very crisp and clean cutting mechanism. It is easy to use.

The photo shows a short paper rounder, but it is actually much longer than the photo shows. I'm not happy with the 10-1/4" length. My friend has a paper rounder from Germany and it is much shorter and works perfectly. I may return this for it's long length. But it does cut beautifully. It is an excellent paper rounder.

I'm pretty sure there's one guy in the united states who supplies blades for this thing, and they ain't cheap, so when you order, be absolutely sure the radius you want is the one you specify to come with the unit (really, you're buying the blade--the unit is pretty simple, it's just a mechanism to work the blade). I wasn't paying attention and got a 1/2" radius blade, when a 1/4" radius would have been a lot more useful. An additional 1/4" blade is almost as much as an entire new unit, but I'm sure I'll break down and get one someday. As for function, it does a great job. Counterintuitively, it seems to work better with a larger stack to cut than a shorter stack. Again, pretty simple, but it definitely gets the job done.

This is my second Lassco CR-20 corner rounder. I bought one at least 15 years ago for the company I work with. Believe this when I say, I STILL have the original one! To start, the original one still works the same as it did the first day I got it. It has been dropped, banged, and abused every way possible in a workshop environment. It has rounded the corners of countless magnetic signs, ACM panels (thin aluminum faces w/ polyurethane in the middle 3/16" thick), and 3mm & 6mm compressed PVC board. It used to have a flip-up extension table that would increase the size of the table by 2" or so. Sadly, it broke off. That is the only casualty of the rounder, as that no longer works. I just opened the box of my new one for home use, and except for the vacant extension table, it looks EXACTLY the same as the old one. Just as sharp, same smooth operation, it just works, plain and simple. I'm expecting to get years out of the new one, just like the old one that I continue to still use today.

Works great and we use every day. Very good quality. Very surprised on how well it works. Cuts plastic very well.
