It's hard to find cutters that will do a proper fillet, but this does the job, at least on plastics, which are pretty much all I cut with my 3018 CNC.

Very well performing bits cut through wood in my cnc router no issues. With the proper speed and feed, no tear out and nice smooth cuts.

On our janky setup, this worked great - despite using a chuck instead of a collet on a manual machine milling 4340 alloy steel, this end mill handled everything we threw at it like a champ. It chattered a bit due to the setup, but still left a decent surface finish and has no chips or signs of wear. We tested it with a full-depth climb cut, a plunge cut, and facing off some mill scale, which chewed up a different bit of similar size.Overall, this end mill exceeded expectations!

This review is for 4mm Shank Carbide Corner Radius End Mill Bit 4mm Cutting Dia.(R0.5mm) 4 Flutes AlCrN Coated Metric CNC Mill BitThis is a end mill with a 0.5mm radius that cuts well in aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel. The radius is helpful for avoiding stress risers at the corners of machined slots and other profiles. Also, the radius reduces wear on the tool itself.I examined the bit under 45x magnification when it was received and after cutting aluminum and stainless steel. No perceptible wear was observed.I was a little concerned about cutting aluminum, considering the AlCrN coating, but no galling or sticking of the work material to the tool was seen. I used a 4mm ER16 collet to secure the tool in the Taig CNC mill. I measured less than 0.001" TIR at 1" from the collet face. One thing I always mention in these reviews is the lack of feed and speed information or even chip load chart. Of course, one can figure such things out by experiment, but a simple chart allows one to reach the maximum performance of the tooling more quickly.Overall, a very useful tool for many metals with the added feature of a corner radius cutting edge. Recommend.

Made of high quality material. Used quite a few times already, but, hardly see any tear.

I wrote a longer review for a similar bit "SHARPRO Carbide Square End Mill for Aluminum Cutting 3 Flute 6mm Shank 5mm Cutting Dia. 50mm OVL. Uncoated (Bright) Finish Upcut Spiral CNC Milling Bit".Not repeating all that. This is a 6mm diameter shank which is smaller than the US standard 1/4", which is 6.5mm. The chuck cannot tighten down that much, so I had to acquire a 6mm Makita router collet from an Amazon international seller, with international shipping. It works very well. There is no information provided about feed rates / depth of cut for guidance. Also SHARPRO doesn't have a website that has tables of those, as, for example Whiteside does. There is a lot of various numbers on the packaging and the bits. I had to make a cheat sheet spreadsheet to keep track of them. I've no idea if some of these numbers relate to feed rate / cut depths etc.For this bit:Amazon Web Listing: Carbide Corner Radius End Mill 4 Flute 6mm Shank 6mm Cutting Dia.(R0.5mm) 16mm CL. 50mm OVL. So far so good with cutting with this milling end. Sharpro millends seem to work well with my projects I cut on my Cnc's. I would recommend.
