This Lasko fan is pretty powerful for a deck fan, which is great when you want something to cut through the heat on those really hot days. I can place it far enough away so it's not too loud, but still close enough to keep the mosquitos at bay (I swear they love me more than anyone else). The three speeds are good and give you some options depending on how strong of a breeze you want. It's pretty easy to install, although I did have to drill a couple extra holes in my deck because it wasn't quite lined up right with the studs.I guess the only thing that could be improved is maybe adding some kind of remote control so you don't have to walk over to turn it on and off. But overall, it's a pretty solid fan for the price. I haven't had any issues with it yet, and it seems pretty well-built (the metal blades are definitely a plus). It's not going to win any beauty contests, but it does the job.

I got this for my fiancé who can’t sleep without a heavy duty fanWe had bought a $50 one from Walmart same brand plastic fanAnd he DESPISED it I heard about it every night before bed how that was the worst purchase of his life lol!I got this one and oh my goodness I can’t step out of the bathroom without feeling like I’m stepping into a category 3 maybe even higher hurricane 😂 he is a human heater so he LOVES it but I’m a cold blooded human and it’s getting cold out so I’m freezingNo complaints tho he’s happy so I’m happy I’m glad to have made this purchase 10 out of 10!It’s barely more noises than the other fan but a million times more powerful it give a nice peaceful almost relaxing soundHeavy duty very durable !Decent size but not too huge ! We bought our first 20" fan in 2015 and it is still going strong. We added another one in 2020 when the road crew started digging up the street in front of our house. What we learned is that we bought the best 20X20 inch filter and zip tied it to the back of the fan. This way it filtered out all the dust that was coming in to the house even with the windows closed. The sound of the fan also helped dround out the equipment noise so we could keep sleeping. The workers would start at sun up and go until sun down.We live in a remote isolated village on the western coast of Alaska, so sun up was 3:30 am and sun down was after 10 pm.We use these fans all year long. We have 2 weeks in the summer when it gets in the high 70's to low 80's in the house. At 80° we melt! Keep in mind that our winters we have at least two weeks of -20°!!! Christmas day of 2023 it was -38°.The other thing we discovered was when we took off the filter because it was full and needed changing, we had to wait for our order to come in by plane. We went for 2 weeks with out the filters and my allergies went bulistic. My eyes would not stop burning. We also use this fan to dry our laundry which we put on a wooden rack. It is MUCH cheaper on the electric bill than using the electric dryer! Anyway to cut corners on the electric bill we do as it is .50 a kilowatt up here. We came from a place between two dams on the Columbia River that electricity was .03 a kilowatt! Our only polution up here in the Alaska Bush is dust.Have a great day! We are!
Excelente muy buena calidad

Great fan. Well built. Quiet at lower speed. Displaces lots of air at lower speed and more at higher speeds.

I purchased this originally for my home. Yes, it has a louder hum than a household fan, but we were willing to put up with it for the amount of air that this beast can push out. This is great on really hot days to flush out that gross air or to bring in fresh air.I even brought it to school to cool down my gym class after a tough unit and circulate the stale school air. This thing BLOWS! It is meant for a shop or industrial space, but it's such a good value, I wouldn't give it up as a household fan. Not A/C, but a very close 2nd.

I've had this fan for a couple months now and I'm very pleased with it. I didn't want to just get a cheap plastic fan (I've had plenty of those). So I spent a little more money and so far am happy I did. Hopefully this fan will last a few years, making it a solid investment. It is all metal, with metal blades. This fan does have the capacity to be mounted on the wall, but I have not done that so I can't review that aspect of the product.I just have my fan on the floor and that's good enough for me. I have a room in my home that was not getting cool enough this summer. The central A/C vent in that room blows out cool air, but it's just not enough to accommodate the size of the room. So I purchased this fan to see if it would help. I placed the fan on the opposite end of the room from where the A/C vent is, so that the fan is blowing toward the A/C vent. It works wonderfully. This is a powerful fan and has tremendous velocity at the lowest setting (it has low-med-high settings). I usually just run it on low and it keeps my room cool. There were a few days when it was hotter and more humid outside, and the room just wasn't getting cool enough for me, so I turned the fan up on high and that did the trick.Because this is a heavy-duty, high-velocity fan, I suppose it is a bit loud even on the lowest setting. But I'm one of those people who likes the sound of a fan so it's hard for me to comment on this aspect. It is noticeably louder if you increase the setting. I suppose some people might think that the high setting sounds a bit like a jet engine. But again, I'm just trying to be as objective as I can since the noise this fan produces doesn't bother me one bit, even on high. For me, the sound of this fan is very relaxing. In its defense, it is a very smooth sound. There is no annoying rattling or vibrating or anything like that - those type of noises DO bother me. This is just a nice, smooth fan sound that happens to be loud because it is pushing the air so forcefully. Some people might find this helpful if they want to block out outside noises, particularly if they work at night and have to try to sleep during the day. If you are one of those people, this is an excellent fan to serve your purpose. There are rubber feet on the bottom which help prevent vibration-type noise, and also helps keep the fan from sliding around - although it is so solid that it probably wouldn't slide anyway, except possibly on the highest setting. This fan is quite a bit heavier than a plastic fan, but I see that as a good thing. That's what I wanted - a solid, sturdy fan as opposed to a lightweight, flimsy plastic thing. You don't have to worry about accidentally tipping it over.I recommend this this product. It is MUCH more powerful than a cheap, plastic fan. Very solid, all-metal construction. High velocity pushes much more air and does a much better job of cooling a room.
