I absolutely love this Laser Distance Meter! It's incredibly accurate and easy to use, making measuring distances a breeze. The device is compact and lightweight, yet it feels sturdy and well-built. The laser is bright and clear, and the display is easy to read, although not great in direct sunlight. I initially needed it to measure the height of tree limbs in planning to hang a ham radio antenna and it worked perfectly. I’ve used it for everything from simple home projects to more precise measurements, and it has performed flawlessly every time. If you’re looking for a reliable and efficient laser distance meter, this one is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

You can measure distances, areas and volumes with it. It can include or exclude the device length allowing easy inside measurements of things like drawers. I have not been able to measure the full 100M with it as it seems to require a reflective surface to bounce the beam back from, which I didn't have at the time I was testing it.

Was not expecting such a good tool for this price. Everything they claim is true so far. Reading the manual is very helpful to understand how the features can be used. The convenience compared to a tape measure is paramount.

I love this little product. It's perfect for getting a quick measure on a distance from where you are to something across the way. It's not necessarily the most practical for getting a super accurate measurement over a long distance as I find that I can't keep my hands steady enough or the laser exactly where I want it to go to get a measurement to a fraction of an inch, but if I want to know if it's 20 ft or 20 ft 3 in, then this is perfect. There are a few buttons on it that are easy to work, although not necessarily the most intuitive. Once you kind of figured out I have to refigure it out after a month of not using it.One thing I wish was different was that it could constantly measure a distance instead of having to press the measure button as the action of pushing the button sometimes moves my hand and the device, resulting in an errant measurement. That's a small gripe though, and I wouldn't pay double the price for that feature

The Atolla lazer measurement tool works great in almost all measuring requirements. Though it has some limitations. It was quite expensive. But it does what it is supposed to do. The wide screen is awesome, and easy to read. The tool is easy to use, and accurate.

UPDATE 2/8/23: Atolla support got back to me (apparently they were out for the Chinese New Year) and really did a stand up job. Thye sent me a new unit AND refunded my purchase price for my troubles. The new unit doesn't have this problem (because it doesn't have Ft/Inch/Fraction mode anymore, but it does do inch/fraction, which is fine for me). I will say that this laser is pretty accurate-- well within 1/16th. I've been using it to measure for framing and even some trim cuts for a bit now. With the laser set to feet, inches, fractions unit mode, with the measurement from the rear, the laser will display any two digit inch numbers incorrectly. It drops the tens position on the inch measurement. So 4' 10 & 3/16" is displayed as 4' 0 & 3/16". This is a repeatable problem and happens with any two digit inch measurement. It looks like at least one other reviewer has noticed this problem, too. I contacted support with the issue, but once I proved it with video they just stopped responding to me.

I needed to measure from the center of a wall in order to hang pictures in an area that wasn't easy to measure without another pair of hands, which I didn't have. Enter the atolla laser distance meter and problem solved. The PRO's: distance can be measured from the top or bottom of the meter, there is a continuous measurement mode (I had a general idea where center was but could use this mode to move the meter back and forth to get the exact distance), instructions were easy to follow, screen is easy to read, easy conversion between units of length. I've only used the laser inside and it was very easy to see. I didn't care enough to check the accuracy of the meter, but by my estimation the accuracy stated in the description is correct. I haven't used the more advanced features (measuring area or hypotenuse). The only CON is the level: the bubble moves v e r y s l o w l y, making it easy to over-correct and made me question accuracy. This isn't a big deal for my purposes, but may be an issue for others with more stringent needs. Overall, I am really pleased with this meter and I definitely got my money's worth.

I was buying this mainly to measure my house layout for renovation. Decide to go with the 100M version (T201-100 ), which is slightly bigger than the 60M version, with a larger lens. The accuracy is surprisingly good. Comparable to tape measurement for small distance, much better than tape for measuring room size. I personally find it difficult to keep the tape straight when measuring anything more than 5 feet. This laser measure tool solve the problem.I also like the build-in calculation function, that allows you to easily add or substract length. Have not have chance to test other calculation functions, but seems to be very capable.Just had it for one day, can't give any comments on the durability yet, the build quality seem good. One concern I have that is the battery cover seems very easy to come off, I personally prefer to have a screw-on battery cover to avoid the cover fell accidently.

Good product, way cheaper than the big brands (just slower). I checked the accuracy against a ruler: both measuring from top and bottom of the meter are spot on (bottom of meter measurement just adds 12.2cm to the measurement). I chose this one over the other laser measures at the price point because it can display fractional inches, and I couldn't confirm the other ones were able to from the listing pictures.Tips/gotchas:* The add/subtract button for straight line measurement works by taking the first measurement, pressing +/-, then taking another measurement. It will stay in +/- mode for subsequent measurements.* Add/subtract for the special modes (area, volume, hypotenuse-side, etc), is different if you want to add/subtract more than two measurements: you need to do the first set of measurements, then press +/-, then take another set of measurements. When the result of the second set of measurements shows, you need to press Read to return the result. Then, if you want to continue adding/subtracting, you need to press +/- AGAIN to your chosen mode and take your next set of measurements. Pressing Read from the result screen without pressing +/- again will take you back to straight line measurement mode (this is kind of unexpected, because without +/- mode subsequent measurements stay in the special mode you've chosen).* Only the unit setting is retained across poweroffs.Settings menu:From off, hold On for 3 seconds until you see "boot".To change the value of a setting, short press On.To go to the next setting, long press On (1 second). Here are the settings in order and what they do, default setting in [brackets]:1. Power on reading: [yes], indicated by laser pointer icon in top left, no, indicated by no laser pointer icon If yes, the measure is ready to take a reading when you first turn it on (you only need to press Read once, instead of once to activate the laser pointer and then again to get the reading).2. Calibration: [CAL. 0]. I don't know what effect this has, and I don't recommend changing it.3. Power on mute: [on], will beep by default, off, will be muted by default.4. Power on backlight: [on], will turn on the backlight, off, won't turn on the backlight.
