I ordered this laser level and it showed up the next day as promised. I set it up with the tri pod and so far it’s working great. You can’t beat the price. Comes with a nice case and a bag for the tri pod.

Great for DIYers as it comes with auto levelling and tripod stand. Use is straight forward, just install the batteries, mount the level block on tripod and you are good to go. Tripod also has bubble level which helps in positioning. While this is not high level Milwakee or Dewaltt with tons of features (and much higher cost), this level provides enough for DIYers to do tasks around the house.

This laser level worked really well but setting it up was a bit of a faff. If you need to use it above the level of the very low tripod, you'll need a large flat and stable surface to put it on which made it a bit awkward to use in furnished rooms to put up the odd shelf. If you're using it in a full room renovation where you've got plenty of space though it would be find; it's nice and bright and levelled well.

After what can seem like an eternity, I have at long last finished the spare rooms ensuite, I do not know why I hung about and ignored it, well, thats a lie, I do, I HATE tiling, LOL, trying to get the things to hang straight, and stay there is a nightmare, well, it is for me, but when I saw this appear on the Amazon Vine program I snapped it up quickly and could not wait for it to arrive.Setting it up is childs play, with the spirit levels on the tripod area to make sure that the level is, well, level, LOL, then the laser line just shines where you point it and you there you have a plum line thats perfect, and there is stayed until the tiles were placed. The item is one of those that only gets used rarely, but seeing that it can be used for hanging curatin rails, pictures and so on, this will get a lot of use over the coming year as we eventually finish renovating our home, well, thats the plan anyway. For anyone into DIY, I can assure you that you will be hard pressed to find something better and cheaper than this, I am well happy and am more than impressed, so you can guess that I will happily recommend this to anyone that wants one... well HAPPY !

Used this to help install a wall-mounted clothing bar in our guest room, and truthfully am not sure it saved me any time over using my 36" carpenters level. The self-leveling feature works great, and the laser light is quite bright and easy to see even in a bright room. It flashes the beam when the tilt is more than it can adjust for, and that was where I encountered the unit's one shortcoming: the height of the tripod. Clothes bar needed to be about 6' off the ground, the tripod head is maybe 3' off the ground fully extended. I assumed I could level it horizon-wise, square on to the wall, and then tilt the head up to hit 6'. Nope - laser started flashing and would not settle down. I had no stable place to set the tripod on to get it high enough and had to bring in one of the professional video tripods from my studio and mount the laser head to that to get it to a height where it was usable. Bottom line: the laser head works great, the tripod also works great if you're working at a height of 3' or under. Otherwise, the tripod is worthless. Be prepared to add support to use it above about 3'.

I had the opportunity to test out the Firecore Laser Level with Tripod, and overall, it’s a handy tool for basic indoor projects, especially when you need precision for hanging pictures or aligning shelves.Key Features:1. Self-Leveling: The self-leveling function works efficiently, and the green laser lines are highly visible even in well-lit rooms. It's great for ensuring perfectly straight lines without much hassle.2. Mini Tripod: The 26" mini tripod is compact and easy to set up. While it’s useful for smaller tasks, the tripod can feel a bit flimsy if you're working on uneven surfaces. For standard indoor projects, though, it gets the job done. For larger or more involved tasks, you may want to consider upgrading the tripod.3. Portability: I love that this comes with a carry pouch and runs on 2 AA batteries (which are included). It’s lightweight and easy to transport from room to room or store when not in use.4. Ease of Use: Setting up the laser level was straightforward, even for someone who’s not a professional. The controls are intuitive, and the laser provides both horizontal and vertical lines, which makes aligning frames or pictures a breeze.Pros:Bright green laser: Highly visible and precise for indoor use.Self-leveling: Takes the guesswork out of achieving straight lines.Portability: Compact size, easy to store, and includes a carry pouch.Cons:Tripod stability: Could be more robust, especially for uneven surfaces.Range: Best for smaller indoor projects; not ideal for large spaces or outdoor use. Conclusion:For DIY enthusiasts and homeowners looking to handle small to medium-sized indoor projects, the Firecore Laser Level is a solid investment. It's easy to use, affordable, and accurate for tasks like hanging pictures or installing shelves. Just be mindful of the limitations with the tripod and the range.
