Was struggling with an old Eljer due to the length of the threaded lift rod being too short in the replacement bulb kit that I got at a local store but this item did the trick! The length way perfect and the other piece in the kit worked great with no tools being required! Watched a YouTube video where the guy way fixing an old lady’s toilet and she talked his ear off… but what he showed in the video was great! Just loop the long rod around the threaded lift rod top and bend my hand to adjust! No need to even cut it off.

Thank you so much for this product. The price is good, the shorter rod, connecting to the ball, is just the right length. It took 30 seconds to install and now the toilet works again.So grateful to Lasco for making it and Amazon for selling it.

LASCO 04-3525 Toilet Tank Ball Lift Wires Brass, with Set Lower Wire Threaded and Upper Wire Bent.For those of us who prefer their older toilets, spare parts are becoming harder to find. I also recommend buying a supply of rubber tank balls here on Amazon. A classic design by a newer company: Danco 88909 Tank Ball, 3 in, Rubber, for Use with Old-Style Kohler Toilet Closets, 3", Black. The old rubber tank ball was made in U.S. labelled: Solder Seal GUNK. Both have "Radiator Specialty Company" and "Triple Seal" molded into the tank ball, and both appear to be the same except for the country of origin.

Hard to find length. Modern wires are too short for my older model. For years I couldn't find a much needed replacement wire, This has greatly improved toilet operation. Might sound funny but it's not.
