Product works well, rubber construction doesn't last long and needs periodically replacement. The original tank balls lasted for years before replacement. Manufacturer might consider using a better quality rubber.

I have an old house--1962 built. My toilets are original and still work great, however, recently I needed to replace the flapper on one. And the flapper mechanism is different than the current toilet models. I found this flapper and ordered it and it was easy to install and it works great. I ordered two so I have a spare for the next time I need a flapper. I am very happy with my purchase.

Super easy to install. Works great for my mint green 1967 toilet.Normally you'd just replace a toliet when every part has gone out at the same time, but the toilets base was much larger than a normal toilet and most of nuts and bolts had corroded. After ordering and returning 8 different toilet flapper replacement parts, this one worked.This fits into the almost 2 inch dauber hole perfectly. The handle chain lifts it just enough to let the water drain down and then back into place. No More running water sounds, no more excessive water waste. Perfect part.

I have one older toilet in my house that I refuse to replace. A plumber once told me that my older toilet was better than the new fangled models even if it was using more water. I have replaced a lot of things in my old house but this toilet will not be replaced until I kick the bucket. This replacement ball worked very well. Please note, that in my case the long metal piece that came with it was too short so work on my toilet so I just used the long metal piece that was on the previous unit. That's the only reason why I took away one star but other than that, it is functioning and flushing as well as it did when I moved here in 1968 :-)

This toilet ball is for a 1954 toilet. It's difficult to find this important part. Good quality. Good price. Regular replacement of a toilet ball or flapper prevents toilet running and wasted water.

I have a "vintage" Crane Oxford toilet. The ball was deteriorating, and leaking. Measured size,, this matches closely, and I did not find a decent match in local HW stores. Arrived quick, quick replace, and it works perfectly. Form, fit, and function.The instructions refer to a weight, which was not included. Works fine without this mystery item, at least for my situation.

It took a few weeks for it to settle in & seat properly. Water would keep trickling after the tank filled or at odd timesI would hear it filling again apparently after it had leaked some water into the bowl. After the first few weeks it seems to have adapted & I haven't had any further problems.
