It does help with drying up water quickly, only con is that you have to remove the dishes and dry underneath the mat. Although it is lined with plastic, it still gets wet underneath.

I'm switching to another product. I've been using this mat for three months, and every time I lift it, there's a large puddle of water underneath. We use it with a dish rack to protect our countertop while drying handwashed dishes.The mat's bottom is plastic, and any water that doesn't stay on top ends up underneath. The breaks in the stone are merely plastic that gathers water and flows off the mat. The water underneath takes forever to dry and is damaging my butcher block countertop.

I bought two of these, placed next to each other and it is where I empty my entire dishwasher. Love how the diatomaceous earth absorbs and even pulls in the moisture. Great product. Keep dark pigmented food away from it if you want to keep it nice!These are way better than fabric drying mats and they repel bacteria!

We needed additional drying space but didn’t want to replace our drying rack with an even larger one as it would take over our kitchen counter and look cluttered. This mat looks really nice next to our medium-sized drying rack because it looks decorative and matches our color scheme. High quality - looks expensive! But more importantly absorbs water quickly, leaving no marks, so it’s both pretty and super functional. Perfect for drying pots and pans due to large surface area. Unlike soft drying mats we’ve tried previously, items don’t leave creases or dents due to the hard material.

This is a stylish alternative to drying dishes on a cloth mat. My husband prefers hand washing dishes when there are just a few and I was looking for an alternative to his “grandmotherly” ( no slur intended - I am a grandmother 😀) cloth mats he used. This work perfectly- soaks up the water and dries the dishes quickly all while looking pretty. It can be rolled up and tucked away but it looks so nice I just leave it out.

This is a large 24” x 16” slatted drying rack made of a special drying material that absorbs water. Great size to be placed on the side of the kitchen sink as a drying place mat. Practical as it can be rolled up to save space or to clean up. It came in promptly 2 days after ordering. Will use right away!
