Easy to install. The magnets are awesome and don't squeak like my other cat door, i appreciate the lock if needed. No issues.

It's light weight and easy to install, especially if you already have a hole that will work. If you don't have the tools or skills to make a hole you can call a handy man and it wont be too expensive to have it installed. For less than $20 this thing is a total win.

I just adopted a senior cat that needs to get into rooms of my home that I need to keep the door shut due to my dog. This has been so handy in letting the cat have the freedom he deserves without the dog following him. It is a well-made product with quality plastic. It was easy to install. I had help but it would be manageable with a more seasoned handyperson.

I just moved and had to get a new cat door leading to the new catio. This was installed in a sun room. I had to have a contractor do the installation. It only took him 10 minutes. He cut the hole in the wall and simply installed the door. It is sturdy and is not drafty at all. My largest cat is 15 lbs and is able to use the door with ease. I would buy this again.

This pet door with multiple locking options is large enough for any cat but measure carefully for dog use.Pros: Having the option of only in or only out is handy. In the evening we want our cats to come in without the ability to go out again. The size is big enough for even the largest cats to fit through. The magnet is strong enough to keep the door closed when windy but gentle enough to open with a gentle nudge of the head.Cons: Installation screws are not robust enough unless you pre drill all your holes. The locking mechanism is not wide enough - a determined cat can push at the bottom corners enough to get a paw caught, which I worry is a safety hazard

The last door I had was irritating to change the settings on, built flimsily, and the adhesive came off the airseal bristles pretty quickly. This one is better in all of those categories. Cutting was a little tricky since the pieces bend when trying to trace them (use a template like the instructions say!) -- but it wasn't too tough to install. Super easy to change the settings.

I wanted this to use this door on our feral cat house we were building. We installed it on insulated plywood and the screws provided were too short to install properly. We were able to screw onto the outside but the inside piece, we had to just put on with duct tape. Not sure why they provided such short screws but aside from that, the door works great. It's easy for the cats to push open. We are able to lock it if we wanted it to just be a "window".So as long as you have your own hardware or know installation might be tricky, this is a great door.

When the dog keeps getting into the cats room and causing trouble, it's time to take action. We decided to just use this cat door more like a pass thru without even using the flap. We just traced an outline, cut the drywall and it fit easily between the wall studs on an interior wall. The cat now has some privacy and everyone is happy!
