Great product. Easy to install. Allows the door to be open enough for the cats, but not enough for the dog, which is what I wanted. Good value. Good adhesive strength- did not take the paint when removed.

My young daughter has autism and is an escape artist. We have these on nearly every door on the main floor. It’s easy to use, and she can’t take it apart like other safety devices we’ve tried. It also works well on the pocket door to our basement. I have accidentally yanked it off the wall when opening the front door and forgotten I latched it, but they sell refill adhesive strips separately.

These work great to deter our puppy from going in rooms we do not allow him in, but allow access for our cats. This keeps the puppy from the cat litter and things in rooms that are not puppy proof. It was just what we needed!

This is a great product, with strong adhesion. You can pull/push on any door really hard, and it'll stay up. It's easy to adjust the length of the strap even after you have it placed. However, if you need to take it down for any reason, you won't be able to reuse it because the adhesive no longer works. We had to move ours for a move, and ended up having to buy a new one.

I love this product. I've bought three sets and every room in my house has one. I've got my mom to buy some. It gives my cats the ability to roam room to room at night without having to get up and let them out. If you don't use the door jamb than sometimes they get stuck in a room for a few hours. The length is adjustable which is a bonus for doors in weird locations where you need the extra length.Unfortunately, I have a 65lb dog who can Superman her way through these when she wants something. It rips the latch off the wall, as well as the paint. My landlord is gonna be thrilled when they see the damage. Still, I'm disabled, so these are way cheaper and more convenient than child gates. You can buy replacement 3m strips and just slap it back on the wall where there has already been damage. Good as new.8/10, will buy again. Even when removed properly, they still do some damage to the paint (but then again, I live on an Army base so it could just be housing being cheap on yet another thing.)

We just recently adopted a puppy who is very curious about our 2 cats. We looked around for something to keep doors open enough to allow the cats to come and go from rooms, but keep the puppy out. This is the PERFECT product for that. Very easy to install in less than 30 seconds and works very well keeping the puppy and cats away from each other until we can get all the pets better acquainted. Can also see that these latches could easily be used for infants as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The first one of these I used for the bedroom door so the cat could get in but not the dog or the Roomba. Works like a charm and has held up against the dog pressing on the door. The second one I used on a dryer door. We have a stacked Washer/Dryer unit and the old dryer door liked to swing halfway shut while I was leaning over to pick up laundry and stab me in the back of the head. I used one of these to give me a way to secure the door. I never had to scream another random curse-word at the dryer again. The adhesive power on these things is AMAZING. Our landlord switched the dryer out when the old one malfunctioned. The new one doesn't try to kill me and I wasn't able to get the other half of the latch back so I tried to remove it the mount. After chewing up the painted wood and the plastic with a flathead screw-driver trying to pry it off, I gave up. I'll eventually try a razor blade on it I guess...
