I bought this for my wife. She passed away a few months back, we had been married for 53 years. She was in the military, as was I. She was buried with Military Honors and this holds the flag and the brass shell casing as well as other items indicating military service. It is well made and easy to hang on the wall.

This American Flag and metal display is of Good Quality, you can feel the weight of this item right away. I had purchased another from a different seller but sent it back because of poor quality. Happy with this one

This flag box was exactly what I needed for my State retirement flag. They do not make a case for a State flag that can display the entire State motto in the glass, so unless you want to buy a case too big for the flag and add a lot of stuffing behind it, you should just stick with this one for the smaller 3' X 5' flag. Choosing the right box for the right application is essential. I see a lot of reviews where the writer complains that their flag did not fit in the box. All I can say to that is, read the item description and measure your flag. That way you can get the correct box for your flag. This box is solid wood and nicely finished. Just one note, do not use the pins to attach your document or other things in this box. They will eventually fall and they will always look cheap and tacky. Use clear silicone glue. It sticks to both the item and the cloth backing and can be removed without damaging either, and bonus folks, it will not let your items fall or look tacky or cheap while they are being displayed.

Let me just say WOW! This display case is really nice and huge. I didn’t realize how big it was going to be. It was very well packaged. Box within a box plus another very sturdy cardboard on top with plenty of styrofoam surrounding it. It is made in China but it does appear to be solid wood with real glass. I had no problem fitting my dad’s 9’x5’ casket flag inside. No refolding necessary. My only problem is trying to find enough things to put in the lower display case. His discharge paper looks so small in there.I looked at a lot of flag cases on Amazon and I’m so glad I chose this one. I think anyone will be pleased with this case.

If you need a display case where you can include a flag, this is your case. Very large, very well made. Designed to hold a flag folded in a triangle pattern (US military). If wanting a display case suitable for British or Canadian national flag, ours are not folded in a triangle pattern so this is not the case for you. US service.....definitely the right case
