Bought this for a good price on Prime Day but didn't get a chance to use it until recently. It was simple enough to put up, just zip the two pieces together and weigh it down with some sand. Don't be fooled by the picture though (as I was). This thing is tiny. We are a small family, only three of us and my wife and daughter are very petite. It was a squeeze getting all of us in this thing. That said, it did what it's supposed to do, it kept us sheltered from the sun (and the rain that day) and provided a somewhat safer place to store our stuff while we spent the day at the beach. When it came time to leave, however, we couldn't figure out how to fold thing back up for the life of us. There were instructions but they weren't written by a native English speaker so they were all but useless. We were about ready to give up and just unzip the two pieces to lay them flat in the truck until we got home when I somehow, accidently, got it to fold up to a size that fit in the storage bag. It wasn't pretty though and I have no idea how to repeat it.

I went to the Bahamas and packed this with me. It was easy for my bf to set up. It doesn’t just pop out like you think. You have to actually set it up first because it comes in two pieces and then you go from there. I was fully covered from head to toe. Didn’t feel any sun rays coming in. I could breathe. It wasn’t as bad to put back in and I like that it came with a bag The zipper was inside out for some reason though but we figured it out. I now look forward to all beach trips because of this pop up tent. Super affordable, perfect size. Definitely a must buy!

First of all, know I was so excited to find and order this on Amazon. Love, love, love the beach. Haven't had a vacation in 5 years, going to the beach in two months, this seemed like the perfect addition to our "must-haves" list. Watched the videos on how to fold and thought, "I can do that. I have videos showing me how. Can't be that hard..." Came in 2 pieces - canopy and floor. First thing I noticed is that the material that extends outside of the floor was attached upside down. The silver is facing up and the blue is facing down (what I was trying to show in my pictures). I cannot imagine the pockets for added weight will help with the material upside down. Zipping canopy to the floor was a little tricky and seemed flimsy. Wondered how well it would hold up to repeated remove-reattach...but was not really a big concern as videos show it can be folded without unzipping. When I got it open, the canopy seems to lean. Tried to fold it back up and put in the included bag for over 3 hours - didn't happen. It was more oval shaped than round and did not fit. I finally took the canopy off, folded them separately (as the man does in the video) and got both pieces in the bag with ease. Not a fan of the silver-side-up and doubt it will last long having to unzip-reattach with each use. It's not worth the hassle of returning. I'll fold the material under the tent for our trip or just cut it off and then let the grandbabies play in it until it falls apart - if it even makes it through the days at the beach. It does have more room than I expected which is the only good thing I can say about it at this point. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy an over-sized beach umbrella instead.

I thought it would be harder to put together and take apart, but after a few tries it's really simple. I keep it zipped when I fold it up and that way when I put it up again I don't have to rezip it. Good for one person, maybe two if you don't mind sitting close to each other. Depending on the angle it usually has a small sunny spot at the end, but I just adjust it once or twice throughout the day and it works fine. Survived one season of going to the beach multiple times a week and it doesn't show any wear and tear so far! As someone who hates direct sunlight, this makes me go to the beach a lot more often than I used to.The material stains easily from sunscreen where you lay on it, but that's not really something I'm concerned about.

i’ll start by saying this tent was ultimately really handy and good to have however i’m not sure if i’d recommend this exact one. the biggest thing that was falsely advertised and the most inconvenient was that it’s not all one piece and comes in 2 pieces that you have to zip together. i was expecting to open the tent and having it already all connected. the second biggest issue with this is it isn’t very wind resistant. the wind would blow the top part almost flat and needs to face the wind or be held up from the inside in order to stay up. it also doesn’t have have good air ventilation inside the tent so it gets a little stuffy. disassembling the tent was fairly quick and easy, looked cute, light weight, and overall convenient to have!

We bought this pop up for a beach trip with my 1 year old grandson. The "tunnel" shape provided shade and was large enough that we were able to put his small wade pool/seat inside. It is very light weight and easy set up.The only con is the folding to put back in the bag. Was a very windy day when we were leaving and was hard to control the parts.Would buy again though.

The tent is useful. It will do the work to protect you from the sun, which is the most important part. The size is good and it is easy to set up. The only disadvantage is that it is a pain to fold and put back into the bag (case). Takes me 2 to 3 tries before I can finally fold it properly (not very easy on a sunny windy day at the beach). instruction on hie to fold it back should be improved.

This sun tent is perfect! I bought this when traveling to a beach vacation. It was light weight and compact enough to easily throw over my shoulder at the airport (took it as a carry-on). It was a life saver at the beach! Goes up in literally one second. Perfect for shade and to avoid getting so sandy while sitting and drying off. I like that it has screens on each side so you still get a lot of air flow and don't just bake in there. It does take a min to get the trick of folding it back up, but once I figured it out, it was easy peasy and I can do it very quickly. Clean up was a breeze! All the sand was contained to the carrying case and when we got back from the beach I just opened it up on the yard and brushed all the sand off and it was ready for the next adventure. This tent will be getting a lot of use from our family. Highly recommend and very happy with my purchase!
