I bought this umbrella in the summer of ‘24 a couple months after I noticed it wasn’t opening correctly and seen it wasn’t connected correctly, manufacture defect. I contacted the company through email and showed them the picture and they quickly sent a replacement. They his creates a lot of shade, easy to set up. Although I wish there were a stand only option when sitting on bleachers I’ve learned to use a rubber snubber to hold it on a bleacher and keeping it hands free. I’ve never used it in the sand, only on the softball field.

easy to assemble and disassemble. there's an attachment piece, the auger which screws into the ground. it also has an extra straight metal piece to help you screw it into the ground as it will get tough to screw in.you can use it as a standing umbrella or you can use it as laying on its side as a lot of the pictures display. if you are going to use it as a standing umbrella you will need to screw in the auger into the ground. that'll be the only way it actually stands up. if you wanted to lay on its side you don't need to screw it into the ground. however if it's windy you will need to screw the auger into the ground even if it's laying on its side and use the provided stakes to stake in the sides of the umbrella. the stakes are included in the packagethe umbrella really provided a lot of shade for a family of four. we use it during soccer practice but there was no wind so I couldn't speak on the durability. I did take a close look at the veins (metal folding pieces) of the umbrella. it is stitched on by about four threads every 6 inches. this does not look like it will last long.although the four threads holding the veins of the umbrella together looks like he'll fall apart in the future I'll update my star rating if it doesn't last. it would be unfair of me to remove a star just because of what I think would happen but actually has not.the carrying case that it comes with also feels like it's going to fall apart within a year. the fabric of the carrying case is very thin and stitched onto the covering of the umbrella. the weight of the umbrella feels like the stitching for the case would fall apart in the near future. I don't think that's an issue I would just buy another durable carrying case for it.overall I really like the umbrella really easy to set up and break down. hoping to get at least 3 years out of it

Pretty decent umbrella, but the side stakes don't work at the beach. They just pull out as soon as you put them in. I recommend you buy 2 extra stakes that are the screw in variety for the beach.Sun coverage is good. Size is good. You can fit 3 chairs. Pretty lightweight.Assembly is relatively easy. I purposely didn't let the man in my group put it up so I knew how difficult it would be, and it wasn't bad, other than the non functional side stakes. All in all, I currently give it a solid 4. But this is with only 1 use.

As a dedicated soccer parent, I've seen my fair share of rainy, windy, and downright miserable game days. That was, until I upped my game with the Sport-Brella Premiere XL UPF 50+. Suddenly, I went from being just another shivering spectator on the sidelines to the envy of every other parent. Here's why this Sport-Brella is the MVP (Most Valuable Protection) of outdoor sporting events.First off, let's talk about the sheer jealousy it sparks. Picture this: a sudden downpour turns the sidelines into a wet, cold mess. Meanwhile, I'm sitting comfortably under my Sport-Brella, dry as a bone and relaxed as can be. The envious glances from other parents huddled under their flimsy umbrellas or, worse, getting soaked, are almost as satisfying as the game itself. It's not just about staying dry; it's about doing it in style and comfort, making others wish they were as prepared. The UPF 50+ protection is no joke either. On sunnier days, while others are slathering on sunscreen or squinting in the sunlight, my family and I are chillin' in the shade, protected from harmful rays. It's like having a personal, portable fortress that guards against both UV rays and rain. But it's the wind protection that truly sets the Sport-Brella apart. We've all experienced those gusty game days when the wind is more aggressive than the opposing team. The Sport-Brella stands firm, offering a cozy, wind-free zone. It's like being in a calm oasis in the midst of a tempest, watching the game unfold without a shiver or a squint.Setting it up is a breeze (pun intended), and its durability means I'm set for many seasons to come. The Sport-Brella has become more than just an accessory; it's a game-changer. It transforms the sideline experience from a test of endurance into a comfortable, enjoyable outing, no matter the weather. In conclusion, if you want to elevate your sideline game, make other parents green with envy, and actually enjoy those rainy, windy soccer games, the Sport-Brella Premiere XL UPF 50+ is a must-have. It's not just about watching your kids play; it's about doing so in unparalleled comfort and style. Bring on the rain, wind, and sun; with my Sport-Brella, I'm ready for anything – and looking forward to the next game, no matter the forecast.

Super big, sturdy and awesome! We have 3 kids and lots of stuff always at the beach, this holds it all and there’s still room for the kids to play in the sand under it. Outer carry bag may disintegrate eventually but the unit itself seems solid and well build. The pole auger is a little sharp so I threw an old sock over it when Not in use so as it doesn’t rip the umbrella nylon or the carry bag. Sets up fast. The grey colour is nice and light. Doesn’t attract the heat!
