I was surprised at how well the SHUWEI cooling stand works (better than expected). I use a Surface Pro 9 w a dock and two 34in ultrawide monitors. Before; the system would begin to overheat then struggle with Teams calls and/or heavy apps etc.. Now; I can take Teams calls, leave my most used apps open (Excel, Outlook, Bloomberg Terminal, XMind, Opera, Edge), across three different Windows desktops (Win button + tab), present etc. and the system doesn't miss a beat. Additionally, I just leave the fan at the lowest setting and it's barely audible. As you increase the speed it gets louder and at the highest setting it's a few clicks below noisy (I doubt you would ever need to go that high). The stand itself is of high quality brushed aluminum with chrome bolts, it's super durable, feels expensive and looks great.

I've owned a few cooling stands over the years. When my last one died, I almost ordered another cheap plastic one, until I spotted this one. I liked the sleek design, and that it was made of aluminum, rather than plastic. I could tell it was a high quality item after it arrived. Nice weight & feel to it, very solid. Love the adjustable height and angle. Fan works great, too. Perfect for my needs and definitely worth paying a little extra for!

This is definitely a need for my laptop. I have a large laptop and it holds its weight very well, and it’s extremely sturdy. I like the fact it comes with a tool to tighten the bolts, and the fan has three settings and is very quiet as well. I love the color, and it’s definitely compact if you need to take it on the go.

My teenager really loves it. It was easy to unpack and everything works great! There is different fan speeds and it is quiet. It is very sturdy. Holds up well. Has great stability. The different light settings/features. I think is worth the price.

I really like the material and components that were used in the construction of this laptop stand. The aluminum is lightweight and very sturdy. I was able to customize the various angular adjustments to meet my needs perfectly. The fan has three different speed settings and seems to circulate air fairly well. My only complaint is that the fan is just a little bit noisy. It's not so much that it's loud, but that it has a slightly wobbly sound to it. It sounds like the fan is simply cheaply constructed, but I'm very picky and sensitive to ambient sounds, which is why I noticed it. However, it's still a great product for the money and I'm sure that it is comparable to similar products, in regards to fan noise.

Overall this is a very good stand. It holds the position well and looks good. But I was very confused reading reviews stating it is completely silent on the lowest level. No way. There is a distinct whir and a persistent sound some may find annoying. I would say the two higher speeds are too loud for normal use unless you have headphones on. For the record, I bought two because I thought I may have received a bad unit, but they both sound exactly the same.In sum: a good stand, but you will hear a constant whir that as far as computer fans go, could be more quiet. Personally I can live with that but don’t be mislead.

The Shuwei laptop stand has a nice blue grey shade. The laptop stand itself is light, yet sturdy since it is made of aluminum alloy. There are four suctions on the corners of the stand which secures the laptop to the table's desk and there are four suctions on the surface of the stand to secure the laptop. The bottom ridges hold the laptop when it is in a slanted position, so it does not slip off as well. You're going to have to add some pressure to the top or bottom ends of the stand to adjust it, so it can hold the laptop.There are four options for the fan button: off, low, medium, and high. The fan is very quiet and does a good job of cooling down my gaming laptop.Pros:- Sturdy and light stand; can hold large gaming laptops up to 15.6". Suctions are very secure.- Fan is quiet. Uses USB-C to keep it running.Cons:- Can be hard to adjust the stand in a specific slanted orientation. Not as easy to adjust compared to other laptop stands.- Running the fan requires constant USB-C connection. The stand's design is to have the USB-C directly connect to the computer and have the fan running simultaneously.

It's so so sturdy, type c plug in! The fan is extremely quiet! You can't even hear it! I love it so much. I have a MacBook air that keeps overheat and this fan is really helpful. Definitely recommend getting it?

This is well made and a great design for protecting your expensive laptop. The height is adjustable for comfort and keeping your laptop cool.
