Helps if your dough is chilled. This was my first time using it. If you don't press hard enough you can use a sharp knife to pierce the dough. I'm looking forward to using it on a pie

Not well constructed. The large roller broke the first time used. The small roller worked well, but was inconvenient to use on large portions of dough, such as a pie top crust. The small roller worked well for mini pie top crusts.
