This set of self watering planters are well made and durable. The water indication float works well to let you know when watering is needed. These do not come with instructions but the brackets are heavy duty coated metal and go over the top and under the bottom and hold the planters very securely. These planters look great when assembled. They have good depth, good drainage and the brackets hold the planter level and stable.

I was very surprised when I received these "LaLaGreen Rail Planter for Balcony Outdoor (2 Pack, 20 Inch) Large White Self Watering Deck Railing Planters with Brackets". The white outer part of the planter is very thick, heavy duty plastic. The brackets are excellent quality, also heavy duty. I love how they made it so the bracket doesn't show. It holds a lot of weight as long as you anchor it properly. I put mine on the exterior of my house, two of them under one window. They come with a float to let you know what the water level is like without having to try and lift out the inner planter. The drainage looks really nice - plenty of holes, not too large, and it should allow some air circulation as well, which is good for the roots. I got the 20" sized ones, and I'm really happy with them.

Do not buy! The brackets don’t fit the planters which you only discover after spending 30 minutes trying to unpack the boxes because they are so tightly packed.
