The dies included with this tool have a 45 degree on one end and 37 degree on the other. This is bad because for one, the tool only includes the flares for 45 degree, and for two, you need a completely flat die for bubble flaring. if you use the 45 degree die it makes a very poor flare that doesn't really seal.

This tool is amazing! I can make a perfect double flare in less then a minute. The one draw back is that you need 2 1/4 inch of straight tube from your first bend, which is a problem on some pre-bent lines.

This worked fine with steel or nicop lines but when I used it on annealed stainless steel it did three flares and the second operation die got distorted. I checked to see if the dies are hardened with a file a it cut right in. Not hardened !!

Seems to work fine, but it comes with additional dies that are not useable because I can’t find how to purchase expansion or replacement parts. Consider getting a kit that has both 37 and 45 capabilities.
