Working on a 4-story multifamily housing complex. Our workers needed to climb high on top of ladders to reach the balconies in order to clean dryer vents. This required our workers to place their ladders against aluminum railings which damaged the paint on every one of them.

This product is intended to be installed on the glide or upright portion of your ladder to prevent slipping or damage to either the structure or your ladder. These fit my 28' fibre extension ladder without issues, installation couldn't be easier. They remain grippy within reason: the colder it gets, the less flexible the material is... so don't expect them to defy physics. If I were to critique any aspect of this design, it would be that the material is fairly thin and I can foresee it wearing through under regular use.Other than that, an affordable solution for the average weekend warrior and a cheaper option compared to bulkier 'toasts'.

I have pool water heating solar panels on my roof, and I need to access them a few times a year - at minimum in the spring and fall. I use a combination ladder from my back deck to get on the roof, and I always throw an old towel over my taupe aluminum eaves troughs to avoid scratching the colour off them, then lay the ladder against that. It's awkward, and the towel can interfere with your feet on the ladder rungsThis product changes all that. The guards are easy to add to my combination ladder (after it's been extended - the extension won't slide through the extension guides if the guards are on).The guards will protect my eaves troughs from scratches, and provide enough friction to keep the ladder from sliding horizontally.The guards are moulded to fit the concave shape that most ladder side-rails have. I tried attaching them to my little-giant ladder, and found they work on the inner ladder, but not on the outside/base ladder, because the side-rails of that portion aren't concave in shape. The product did say it fits MOST ladders, so I can't fault it there.I threw them outside for a few hours at -20C, and confirmed they remain flexible enough to easily add/remove from the ladder.I recommend this product.

These do work, if you get the right size for your ladder. The issue I had was the cushions slide when the ladder was extended... So I had to tape them in place to keep them from sliding out of position when extending the ladder and leaning it on my gutters. FYI.

I installed these pad onto my standard aluminum ladder and they fit so loosely, they slide down the rail making them worthless

As I'm sure some have, I bought these to put on my ladder as I have had the experience of putting the ladder on the gutters to climb onto the roof and one thing leads to another and all of a sudden you're sliding sideways on the ladder and headed for the ground. I stumbled upon these by accident and figured I'd give them a try. THEY WORK! They were easy to install, and they prevented my ladder from sliding side to side as it normally would. I don't have a single negative thing to say about these, they work great!

Purchased these for my 40' foot aluminum ladder as a way to keep the metal from sliding on gutters. They seemed like they would work well when I put them on but soon as I raised the extension up they slide right down. I thought maybe had them on wrong, nope they did it multiple times. Thankfully I am not out alot of money. They might work for some people but they wasn't working for my ladder. Ended up purchasing something else to test out. See if that let's me down like these did or not.

They work as discribed but they have a tendency to slip down as you raise the extension ladder. Have to add piece of tape to hold them in the proper location when placing the ladder against the gutter.

These ladder stabilizers are awesome. They fit my ladder like a glove. They feel of high quality rubber, and I feel that for the money, they are well worth it. I know that there are some reviewers who are talking about how these things slide, how they can't close their ladder with them still on, or that they don't fit. I haven't had any of these issues. I simply used them as I am supposed to, and they are perfect. They do come in different sizes, so if you don't get the right size, you may have some of the issues that other reviewers have had. Pay attention to what size your ladder needs, before you order these and use as directed, and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Doesn’t stick to where I need them to be on the ladder, in summer time I’ll have to hot glue them in place.
