These are great for saving your data from loss and storing in a durable drive.works across the board with apple and windows and even android phones. The boot speed is good is my this third one I own. Very easy to use and install I use them to store photos and video and have never had any problems whatsoever with them. I am very satisfied with the quality of the drives

This hard drive is very durable! I’ve had it for over 4 months, take it everywhere, and have had zero problems. It’s super fast and was easy to install on my Mac. I love how compact yet sturdy it is. Highly recommend this brand—it’s definitely worth the money!

El disco duro es muy bonito y la goma es bastante gruesa, así que lo puedo transportar sin ninguna preocupación. El cable que incluye es de buena calidad. Hasta ahora, ningún problema con la transmisión de información (la velocidad está como en ~100-200 mb/s). Yo recomendaría comprarlo cuando está en rebaja.

This may be premature but this is the nicest hard drive that I have ever owned. I was going to purchase a less expensive drive that would give me more storage (like the 12 tb) but I am glad that I didn't. First of all, I read some of the reviews that spoke negatively on the cord that comes with it. I was fortunate enough to have a slot on my laptop for it. I LOVE the cord. Not only does it free up an extra usb port but most importantly it may be one of reasons I was able to transfer 260gbs in an hour. I'm not always up on the latest so to me, that's lightning. Did I forget to mention that while it was transferring those 260gb, I didn't hear a sound. With those qualities you would think that this drive needs to be plugged into a wall.....Nope. Lastly, I actually like the orange casing. This hard drive is handling heavy workloads with ease. The orange vest seems appropriate. 5 stars all the way. Stop searching. Buy this drive or one of his siblings.Peace and Blessings everyone.

REVISED 01/01/25: I purchased this to back up a half-full 6TB Seagate Backup Plus drive that's acting flaky, attached to my MacMini.UPDATE: The drive came formatted EX-FAT (Mac and Windows compatible) with a USB-C to USB3-Micro B "Super Speed" (two lobes, for the drive) cable. With no spare USB-C ports on my MacMini, I used a Samsung USB3-A to USB3-Micro B cable from an older Seagate drive into a Sabrent USB3-A hub on the MacMini. It worked fine at first, then failed as described below. Retrying with the LaCie cable into a USB-C to USB3-A adapter into the hub worked. Super sensitivity in the Mac system? I have no other explanation as the drive continues to work on Windows PCs with the old Samsung cable.INITIAL REPORT: It mounted fine out of the box, and macOS Disk Utility recognized it as a 5TB volume "LaCie." The first few copy batches of multi-GB files and folders worked OK, but then copying stopped, and macOS Sequoia 15.2 reported "Copy operation stopped, volume disappeared." (WTF??). macOS Disk Utility no longer sees the device.It mounted as a USB volume on Windows 11, and I could see the copied files. Windows reported disk problems so I ran the Scan & Repair utility (Properties->Tools), which took a while but reported a successful repair. Trying again on macOS, and the same result: The drive starts up (vibrates) as expected but doesn't mount and is still invisible to the Disk Utility app.

Compañero perfecto para las Mac, portátil, pequeño, rápido y robusto. Se puede llevar a todos lados y no te preocupas si se cae por error, la goma lo protege súper bien. Les recomiendo sustituir el cable que trae por uno más flexible.
