This chain clamp and German clamp combo is excellent. I have been using it to hold my camera above my microscope, a slightly unconventional use, but it has performed admirably. I am considering purchasing additional units to hold lights as well. It is a versatile piece of lab equipment that is definitely worth the price. The nickel plated zinc construction seems durable and resistant to corrosion, although I would exercise caution around caustic substances. If you are concerned about corrosion, you may want to consider investing in a slightly more expensive stainless steel version. Overall, I am highly satisfied with this product.

This is a very solid, heavy duty clamp that has multiple uses. It easily attaches to a ring stand with the provided clamps and the adjustable chain allows securely clamping lab equipment of different sizes and shapes.
