Turn it any which way, even loose! Great for the lab!

Make sure to tighten the nut under the stand with a wrench, and it will be much sturdier. Don’t just hand tighten it.It’s not truly lab grade (base isn’t heavy), but the stand does what I need. The clamp however didn’t last very long. Has a weak connection to the steel rod supporting it, which rusted and broke after only a couple months of use. Not good.

Screws seem to hold everything in place.

The clamp threads stripped on the second use. Very cheaply made but we all get what we pay for.

Used this to support a dragon plant cutting. Holds the plant upright in a breezy lanai until it develops roots. Price made it practical.

The product is a lighter version of what I used in the classroom. But it is very sturdy and dependable. I will be using this for my online science classes this year in demonstration videos.

I wish the base was milled so you would not need a bolt
