This equipment is made in the cheapest way possible. They claim the base is iron implying it is a the heavy cast iron base we are all familiar with from chem-lab. Actually it is a flimsy stamped piece of sheet steel. Yes there is iron in steel but highly misleading. All the clamps are cheap stamped sheet metal that is riveted or spot-welded...not all the joints are connected at the proper angle. Again, not the sturdy cast parts you would expect. It all looks ready to break and fall apart. I'm a little afraid to attach glassware to it. I don't advise purchasing from this vendor. Why can't Amazon feature some quality USA made items?

These two stands couldn't pass up. They worked well and the balance was great. It stayed steady with a one liter separatory funnel. It came with several attachments and rings.Definitely worth it and I had no problem with it!
