It’s hard to believe that the manufacturer would ship the balance without the power cord, but they did. The balance is being returned. I’ll give them another shot at it and update this review when I can actually use it.Update: Received the replacement balance, and this time it came with the power cord. I can’t comment yet on long-term durability, but the initial test out of the box look good. The balance was accurate and stable from 5 to 300 grams.

This is an excellent lab scale. It seems to be very accurate, and I like that it comes with a standard calibration weight so that you can readily check the accuracy and recalibrate, if necessary. Measurements were in very good agreement with those of my other scale for several items I weighed for comparison. The construction feels solid with a stainless-steel weighing pan and metal support structure. The display is large and bright, and the interface is simple and intuitive. It has the nice added feature that it can be set up to count a number of items having a consistent weight, as well. My only minor complaint is about the one-page manual that comes with the unit. It mentions button combinations for entering an initialization setup mode and a factory test mode. However, after following the instructions and trying every variation that I could think of over the course of about 15 minutes, I was unable to activate these features. Otherwise, I'm quite pleased with this instrument.

I'm surprised how accurate is this lab balance, usually these Chinese brand balances are not so good, I think I got one that was exceeding the average quality. How is called the opposite of getting a lemon? I'm very happy with it, I tried different testing weights to measure accuracy deviations and this one got all them values correctly to the milligram. I would have to pay 7-8times more if I wanted a lab balance that was assuring me the same level of accuracy. It can be calibrated and leveled, does not have batteries, has to be plugged in. It comes also with a basic acrylic enclosure.I would recommend this balance to anyone looking to measure things with accuracy.

This digital lab scale is a good option for those looking for an affordable and functional tool, but it does have some minor drawbacks:Build Quality: The scale works as expected and seems sensitive and accurate. However, the sticker on the face is unevenly placed and could be of higher quality, which gives it a slightly cheap appearance.Performance: While it’s not the nicest scale I’ve used, it does the job well and is reliable for general use.Affordability: It’s quite affordable, making it a practical choice for various projects and hobbies around the house.Overall, this is a decent scale for the price. If you’re looking for something functional and budget-friendly, it’s a solid pick despite some minor cosmetic issues.

It’s always handy to have a scale like this around, it’s useful for weighing all manner of stuff from food ingredients in the kitchen to postage. This scale works well and is simple to use. This review is for the 1000g x 0.01g version. The green LED display is clear and easy to read. The scale can be leveled by watching the built-in bubble level as you adjust the four feet.A handy 200-gram mass was included with the scale. This differs from the product description which shows a 100-gram mass. Another difference is in the two buttons on the right side of the panel – thankfully the text is in Roman characters rather than the Chinese shown in the product description photos. My first test using the supplied 200-gram mass read high by about ¼ of a gram. I went through the calibration (which was easy) and that put it spot on. Thereafter, I noticed that over time, the reading drifted by some fractions of a gram. Not surprising that might happen as the electronics warmed up. I was able to zero that out with the Tare function, and then the 200-gram mass read right on again. This scale feels solid. It’s got a sheet-metal bottom and plastic cover that feels pretty hefty. The scale and its tray together weighed 1737 grams (on a different scale!).There were a few cosmetic flaws in the unit I received, however. Mainly it just looks like it was assembled in a hurry. By that I mean, the printed, thin metallic front panel was kind of bowed in one corner and looked a little ugly. It’s obviously just stuck on with some adhesive backing and it looked like someone slapped it into place quickly. Minor, but noticeable.Secondly, one small section of the LED display looks as though it was scratched or marked or damaged (slightly) during assembly. You can see in one of the photos how some of the LED segments have black marks. Very small and minor, but still I don’t think it should have passed quality control.Note – my photos were taken with the protective plastic sheet still in place. Most of the minor scratches visible in them will no doubt not go through to the metal panel. I tend to leave these protective sheets in place on a new product for while, I’ll remove it later. The scale is simple to operate. The manual is minimal, it’s just a simple one sheet page folded in half and with the most basic info in mediocre quality English. Overall, it’s a nice scale.

I like this scale as general purpose kitchen scale that is capableDoing any thing I need to weigh in kitchen. It will weigh over 6 pounds,And has nice size tray. One thing to note , many scales run off battery power, but this oneNeeds 120v AC, not really a problem for me.This scale will also come in handy for weighing packages…As for accuracy, it comes with a 200 gram weight, and after calibrating, I weighed a quarter and it’sRight where it should be , 5.67 grams. So all is good..
